Cotton- Is that the one that got stolen?
Dolly- no the stolen van was in serious wreck a few days later (emptied out) and was totaled. The van I’m driving now was replaced with insurance. Insurance covered the vehicle $$$ but not contents which was VERY significant

As technology gets more sophisticated, so do scammers. As bad actors adapt to the times, cryptocurrency scams are becoming a bigger problem, duping Americans out of huge sums, the Better Business Bureau said.
In its annual Scam Tracker report, the BBB said investment and cryptocurrency scams were the “riskiest” type of scam in 2023. Scammers are using people’s general lack of understanding about cryptocurrency to their advantage, the Bureau said, promising huge returns on investment for purchasing Bitcoin.
One victim, who shared her story, said she came upon a cryptocurrency scam while watching a YouTube video about Bitcoin investments. People in the comments said they made money using a trading service, so she reached out to the investment firm.

If you have the Chrome browser, and use Duckduckgo, Google knows your browsing history.
So, even though DDG does not “Use” the Google search engine, it does not protect you from Google gathering your browsing information.
Among other search engines, DDG uses Bing and Yahoo search engines. Bing means that Microsoft has your browsing information.
DDG is contractually obligated to Microsoft to use Microsoft trackers.
The answer is very complicated, but generally, DDG may not track your history, but once it connects to the Internet, other entities can.
Startpage uses the other search engines, but it does so anonymously, so Google or Microsoft cannot identify you as the source of the inquiry. They see the request as coming from Startpage and not an individual user.

I thought I’d see the what Google and DDG had to say when I wanted to do a search for the information and research on childhood vaccines by RFK Jr.
Little difference. I was treated to a long list of link telling me what a deceitful, lying conspiracy theorist RFKJr is, and never saw anything actually directing me to his Children’s Health site, with all of the information. TBH, I didn’t keep scrolling, maybe it was somewhere on one of the subsequent pages, but it was clear that Big Pharma did not want it seen!

If I had a computer, laptop or notebook I’d use them.
A phone for all use is hard but when it’s all you have you just do your best

I may or may not have a bowl of soup shortly. Surgery tomorrow EARLY n requires fast after 6. When I have surgical work I usually fast one or two days prior. I’m not hungry but that soup in frig is so good. Might just have a cup

Hope you had good rest to enter this Lord’ s day. I have a hefty list of “to do” to tackle after church . Hopefully will get to sleep early as I must be at hospital at 5:15 and it’s about 45-1 hr drive. Maybe less as I don’t expect much traffic at that time

Hi Nea. It would be interesting to know everyone’s stories of the parents , grands, ancestors arrival to America. From where, age, year approx to where. I think there’s a beautiful melting pot of background. Then we had diversity but it was a good kind.
Escaping places for a better life and freedom.
Terrible how now we are harboring these same thoughts? Where could we go?
