Wow! That must have been exciting. I have a book of all the dead sea scrolls they had found.
Cool! One of my granddaughters went last year, sent a lot of pictures. She went on an excavation in Bulgaria too, she’s graduating this summer with a degree in forensic anthropology.
She’s going to Europe afterwards. So I’m living vicariously through her.

Towers were built in ancient cities to be places of safety during danger, perhaps because of an enemy attack. In the same way, it’s through running to God that believers in Jesus can experience peace in the care of the One who’s “our refuge and strength” (Psalm 46:1).
Proverbs 18:10 tells us protection comes from God’s “name”—which refers to all of who He is. Scripture describes God as “the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness” (Exodus 34:6). God’s protection comes from His mighty strength, as well as His tenderness and love, which causes Him to long to provide refuge to the hurting. For all who are struggling, our heavenly Father offers a place of refuge in His strength and tenderness. .

Heavenly Father, please help me to run to You in both good times and times of struggle.

I find that part of our not running to God for refuge is based on fact we are proud to handle things ourself. It takes being in deepest pit and darkest corner for us to realize we might just need help. To go to God for all problems big and small will help us lead a more peaceful fulfilling life

Yes supplements are pricey! And often they don’t have what I’m looking for. I get quite a bit via Amazon. Hope your day went okay!
My curiosity is which Biden will show up - the one with lobed or unlobed ears ? The brown eyes or blue eyes? The one who walks upright and firmly? The one that shuffles along and is slightly bent over? The one that is the stronger speaker or the mumbler.

They could have gotten that $800,000 figure from anywhere.
I called the city clerk today to find out if the city really is giving money. She said she didn’t think that was true as she has never come across seeing anything like that. She said in order for me to know for sure to call the finance dept. I just called them and the gal I talked to wasn’t able to give me the answer as the people she needs to ask were not available. She doesn’t think it is so and that these two are just finding ways to spew their agenda.
