He’s probably ‘lying’ over the amount of the bribe, according to the DOJ. They can get you over any technicality, if the bribe is actually $50 million, you’re a liar if you claim it’s $10 million.

Smirnov was arrested as he stepped off a plane. I wonder how Biden lured him to the US. Seems like he was set up.

So they appoint a special counsel to investigate Bidementia
and the witness ends up in the gulag.
How strange.

As far as I can tell, is charged with coming to an opinion about facts that is probably true but which the Biden administration hotly contests.

"In an emergency petition with the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Smirnov's lawyers said Wright did not have the authority to order Smirnov to be re-arrested."

I think that is correct, and Wright should release Smirnov immediately. Smirnov was out on his own recognizance and was legally a "free" man subject to the terms of a Federal court order. As long as he was not in violation of the court order, he could not be "rearrested" since he had already been arrested. The jailing of Smirnov a second time is a travesty. When Smirnov was released by Magistrate Judge Daniel Albregts, Albregts warned him, "Don't make a mockery of me." The ones making a mockery of this are DOJ agents and Judge Wright.

I believe Smirnov reported that he was told about the two $5 Mil bribes, not that he had direct knowledge. The Dems initially dismissed the claim since it was a third party claim. It’s pretty hard to prove that someone who is not identified did not provide the information. He is most likely going to be incarcerated so the likes of Tucker or Tucker like does not publish an interview with him.

How are Smirnovs lawyers acting “improperly” when they are trying to get their clients released? That is what lawyers are supposed to do.

This Democrat-Stalinist legal logic is destroying another institution in America.

Destroy their families, destroy their religion, destroy their borders, destroy their law, destroy their judges, destroy their history, destroy their schools, destroy their cities, destroy their police, destroy their farms, destroy their businesses, destroy America...and that is the platform of the Democrat Party.

The man needs to be in prison to preserve his life. With an anklet, the Biden clan can find and kill him

Death in America is more likely than fleeing

The DOJ is going to try to prevent releasing on bail for lying to the FBI???

Interesting, isn’t it how the different federal law enforcement groups come up with all sorts of way to help the Bidens?

Secret Service was right there to “collect” evidence from the the gun dealer that sold Hunter his revolver - even though it was clearly outside their purview.

DOJ prosecutors allow the statute of limitations to expire on multiple crimes committed by Hunter.

DOJ gives a heads up regarding an IRS raid on Hunter’s storage unit.

DOJ attorneys prevent investigations into The Big Guy by the IRS.

The Treasury department is refusing to provide HoR information on the Bidens’ suspicious activity reports regarding the receipt of million of dollars of foreign money.

National Archivist balks at providing HoR documents regarding The Big Guys time in the Senate and VPOTUS.

Special Counsel Hur decides not to prosecute The Big Guy for what should have been literally thousands of charges (remember, each document is a separate charge - ask DJT) of theft and possession of classified documents, perjury (all government officials have to sign the “under penalty of perjury” they’ve returned all that belongs to the government upon their separation), espionage (you’re not supposed to disclose or share classified documents), not to mention all the other financial and bribery crime committed.

Got a (not so) funny feeling Smirnoff might accidentally fall down some stairs before he has a chance to defend himself.
