When ownership becomes a crime. Bill has already been introduced.
10 Minute Video..............
We will get to the point where private vehicle ownership will be prohibited for the masses. It will go from things like this to being “allowed” to purchase a certain vehicle depending upon one’s determined “need”, then to “You don’t need a car. No.” Meanwhile, our betters will dash around on open highways as they head to the airport to fly around the planet.
Ownership may as well be a crime anyway.
Private property is an illusion. You have to pay government to purchase something and you have to pay property tax indefinitely whole it is in your ‘possession’ and can be taken from you if you don’t pay it, so you basically rent everything or pay for the right to transfer things that the government basically owns.
So I am actually surprised they are making it a crime to own certain things. They could probably just make the tax on cars over 15 years punitively high instead.
Let the Islamists chop off the heads of the leftists.
Then the Russians can roll in and re-civilize the places.
Japan already does that, and has been for many decades. There are no 'old cars' in Japan................
I have been in agreement with you for some time now. Notwithstanding their aggressive nature it might be better than the growing socialist leech that is the EU.
Newer cars with Navigation all have tracking abilities. So they don’t want old cars because they can’t track you.
Say goodbye to Classic cars
then to “You don’t need a car- too many criminals use cars for nefarious reasons, so the answer is No”
I guess that would determine what they want more, money or control.
The land that gave us Hobbes and Marx knows what’s best for the plebes. /s
They will pry my ‘52 Pontiac from my cold, dead fingers
This will be a boon to Cuba, where a 15 year old car passes as new.
You will drive nothing and be happy.
That sounds like their gun control argument.
Better not do that here. My car is 27 years old!
Or Central, South America, Africa and Asia.
Where many US and European autos end up IF they still run.
For example, the Toyota Tacoma or Hilux are still being driven all over the world after failing to pass inspection in the USA.
I had an 1988 Toyota pick up. I sold it in 1999 when I bought a new one. Two of the people who called on it sent the trucks to Central America and Asia. They were interested in buying it IF it did not pass inspection because of rust of rotten frames.
That does not mean people want to buy Dodge Neons and other pieces of crap cars.
Peasants should drive. They need to stay in their neighborhood or take the bus.
