MODEL Cara Delevingne is far from the first to suffer an awkward tattoo blunder.
We told this week how a misspelled design on the 31-year-old’s arm features the word “walking” instead of “waking”.

And spelling isn’t always tattoo artists’ strong point, as Sarah Arnold reveals with these cringe-worthy pictures.

That’s what t-shirts are for.
Some look intentional as a pun
Or an upside down Fruit Of The Loom tag on the back of my neck so it looks like the tag sticking out but without the scratchy discomfort.
Do I win something???
A guy I know got a Chinese character tat that was allegedly his macho nickname. Soon after he walks into the ER to deliver a patient and the Chinese doctor starts laughing. Turns out it was the character for “helpless fawn.”

I think the stick-on tattoos are the best option. Maybe someone should create a line of them that feature these kind of flubs. Then you just peel it off after the desired comedic effect has occurred.

That is such an excellent idea, somebody is going to steal it....
Very sad.
I am also put off by the facial piercings, especially in a medical setting or in a food service situation.
I have to agree....piercings are A place for bacteria to hide! (All I can think about with some facial piercings is a zit or wart.)
The ones I cannot stand are the studs coming out of the nostrils. I swear, I fully expect to see things hanging from them. My nephew wears them, and while he isn’t an unpleasant person, when we would get together, I had to make sure I didn’t sit across from him at the dinner table, because I kept finding myself staring at them and trying to avert my eyes. Then, when the food came, I wouldn’t have an appetite.
Some years back, when I used to go movie theaters, I was standing in line with my wife for tickets, and it was a long line.
As we got closer, I noticed the teenage kid working the register, and from where I was, I saw he had a serious complexion problem. I felt some pity for him. Being an adolescent boy can be tough, but when your complexion is that bad with pimples and such, damn. My heart went out to him.
When the line moved closer, I realized that he must have had some kind of reconstructive facial surgery and had what appeared to be some cosmetic prosthetic on his upper and lower lips. Just wow.
Finally, when we got close enough, I saw that while his complexion was indeed bad, he had tattoos on his face and neck.
And the prosthetic for the facial surgery was a long row of piercings not only on the upper and lower lips, but on the nostrils too.
I swear, I almost got angry for wasting my sympathetic emotions on that. Not kidding. It really bothered me.
I know it is HIS face and HIS life, but...what a waste. At least the piercing holes might eventually go away, but those tattoos...
Yeah, It’s a good thing I aint a tato artest..
I hear you. So sickening.
The ring through the septum is far worse than the ones on the side of the nostril.
I just do not understand what all of this facial disfiguring is supposed to accomplish.
I did actually complain once at the grocery store regarding a female working the deli counter with piercings through her nose and such.
You and I obviously have to be from an earlier generation! We just don’t “get” it!
