So you only accept videos with transcripts?
Do you hold “brought to you by Pfizer” to the same standard?
I’m sure “Cookies” Nuland can give you some talking points on this...
He's been on FR since the end of November 2020.
Just think of all the things that he can freepsplain to us.
I listened, very interesting.
That’s the impression I had as well.
Yes. Educated humans read 10x faster than video presenters can talk, and retain twice or three time the information. I for one have neither the bandwidth nor the patience to acquire information in the slowest way known to modern man. A video producer who won't provide a transcript isn't serious.

EXCERPTS:
In 2014, NATO was collectively spending $910 billion annually on defense, but in 2023, that figure is $1.1 trillion.
While U.S. defense spending has grown from $660 billion to $743 billion during that period, the defense spending of the rest of NATO has increased at a higher pace, from $250 billion in 2014 to $356 billion in 2023.
Some of that growth, however, was due to adding three new NATO members since 2017: Macedonia, Montenegro, and Finland.

His substack is The Chronicles of Haiphong, and I quote: "Journalism and analysis from a socialist and anti-imperialist perspective." Haiphong is a far left tankie. He presents himself as anti-west first, pro-anyone anti-west as a means to be anti-west. That's his marketing game.
Conservatives who have followed US politics and Free Republic from before GHW Bush (Sore Loserman, Bush v Gore, missing keys from keyboards in the White House and 9/11 around here was intense) remember Scott Ritter and Larry Johnson well. When either of their lips are moving they are lying. Both of them talking together? That's quite as score for Haiphong and a bit much for me.
If FR is turning into DU lite, can we please be honest about it?
Zeepidy doo dah
Zeepidee day
My oh my it’s another Zeeper sucky day!
>> Yes. Educated humans read 10x faster
Ok, educated humans, but what about YOU?
>> If FR is turning into DU lite
That’s falsehood crap. Where did you get that crap? Or did you manufacture that crap all by yourself in your own system?
"Ok, educated humans, but what about YOU?"
I read 20x faster than hearing the text spoken, at least.
I was tested.
When we were in school in the 1960’s (a Catholic boys school in Asia), they were big on speed reading, as it was a hot thing at the time. The general outcome of speed reading training is mixed. A few do get a huge boost from this, and I was one of those few. I was the fastest reader in school, by far, after a few months.
And that has stuck with me.
Reading speed (holding tested retention constant) legitimately varies among individuals.
It is a reasonable question since the OP has approvingly posted a video from an anti-American socialist radical, and sadly, this has been happening quite frequently.
The guy is genuinely a commie. He is pro Red Chinese (as in actual statist-totalitarian policies), pro-Xi, pro Castro, pro Venezuela regime, pro BLM, you name it. He is too young for the Cold War, but its clear which side he would have been on.
Fifty years ago he would have been a Maoist or something like that, and he would have been visiting Hanoi with Jane Fonda.
That said, I believe in hearing from anyone.
