The moment a monster wave hit an Army base in the Marshall Islands has been captured on camera ... playing out like a scene from a horror movie.
Check it out -- a 3-to-4-ft wave breaks down doors and crashes inside the Army's dining hall in Roi-Namur Saturday, an island at the northern end of Kwajalein Atoll ... knocking people off their feet and sweeping them away.
A 3 - 4 foot wave doesn't sound like much, but it is on a very flat island. Video at the link.
I was there a couple of times in the late 90s and early 2000s. Pretty flat. LOTS of very expensive radar installations there in a lot of different bands.
I remember this in a James Bond movie where the bad guys built a tsunami machine. I hope they catch them.
.
Just imagine if this was the Baltic Sea’s freezing water. As the saying goes, it can always be worse.
Lots of very precise radar for tracking incoming dummy warheads and for anti-missile tests.
Those two standing on the other side of the door had to be seriously injured. Prayers up.
Lots of beards and long hair in that Army dining facility.
Gonna be eating MREs for a while.
That’s hardly any height atoll.
Within the past few weeks there was a spike in Radioactive reading around the Marshall Islands and specifically Kwadjalene
They can wash away for all I care. Kwajalein, Roi-Namur, Wake Island, Johnston Atoll, Midway, Iwo Jima etc. Huge numbers of very important and historic battlefields of the Pacific War are off limits to anyone except military or Fish and Wildlife hippies. By all looks they will remain forbidden forever.
Sad that the men who fought there cannot be commemorated and people cannot walk their battlefields.
But I guess I should keep in mind that Government is the only thing that matters and their selfish needs always come first.
When I consider where to take the thousands of progressives that need to arrested, and then imprisoned, Kwajalein is a candidate. Just load them on a ship and dump them.
Give them some food and supplies and then carefully guard the approaches for fanatics attempting to save them
Apparently the Fish and Wildlife service will need to complete a 14 decade study of the gooney bird first. And the Army needs to keep it’s private islands.
OMG do all the women on that island have duck lips?
sheesh
Rogue waves do exist. I’ve seen them not very far offshore of the Texas coast.
A connection?
Godzilla.
LOL !!! Very slyly applied 😜
