This happens on almost every article now. Wasn't always this way. I can get trashed as a conservative now just about anywhere I go. I don't need to get it on FR.
Especially after having to deal with out-of-town relatives on my wife's side visiting us. Who have clearly been completely suborned by the woke left. Big shock.
My wife doesn't want to accept that fact. These people even stopped celebrating Christmas. However, when she offered them The Epoch Times to read, the response she got was: "Oh, is this that RIGHT-WING rag"?
That was her son talking. Her own son. My stepson. Very successful young man with an adoring second wife. Ex-military he is. His son is also ex-military who now works for a large federal agency. But "resettles migrants" in his spare time.
They are breaking up families, it's part of the plan.
I'm convinced. It's happening as we speak. There'll be no forums left anywhere for any kind of dissent from the new orthodoxy.

I started here in 1998. The place has always had nasty food fights. Some of us had to leave for awhile because W. Bush was a huge lightning rod and people like me hated him after being duped into voting for him, twice. The boss told us to stop blasting him and it’s his website.
We’ve always had a large moderate to left establishment contingent. And if you post anything outside the norm, you will get pounded. I don’t know who it was that said you gotta have a thick skin.
Who cares. If you have the receipts to slap them down - go ahead and engage. They generally can be made to disappear rather easily i find. Propaganda only can get them so far.

I have noticed the same. And what interests me at that many of these “left wingers masquerading as FReepers” have sign on dates that are 20 years old.

Not all Freepers are true Conservatives. And unfortunately, valid comments are being censored on certain threads here too.
People have gotten ruder. I don’t post much anymore as a result. I left completely several times through the years and may again soon. It’s free speech. I get that, but I don’t have to participate. I’m just too old for this anymore. May they enjoy and accept responsibility for the world they create.
Those of us who are conservative need to remember our views are right and we can be secure. If you come across any liberal views, do what I do and take them on. Be polite, but unafraid to educate them.
Yes, I have noticed that TDSers & NeverTrumpers draw a lot of criticism on this site. Can’t imagine why.
I didn’t realize that your family and mine were so closely related. I’m glad i am getting old. It’s tiresome hearing all of the literal ram’s dung that idiots purport to be truth, or science or history, or facts.
Stupidity and ignorance are contagious diseases. Don’t become infected.
By the way, where do conservative views fit nowadays? Do they get set aside and ignored when inconvenient? Is it now wrong to support, encourage, even demand them when a candidate doesn't step up sufficiently? If Trump is to be the nominee, don't we have a responsibility to speak up or are we to just quietly go along for the ride?
