Don’t think for a minute that the Left feels any shame after being called out or criticized for the outcomes of their big DEI push on our culture. In fact, their reaction to any type of pushback to the promotion of race or “underrepresentation” over merit is to double down. We have all witnessed the painful performances of the DEI privileged, including such all-stars as White House press secretary Karine Jean- Pierre, Energy secretary Jennifer Granholm, Vice President Kamala Harris, Transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg, and the DOD’s head escapee of competent thought, Lloyd Austin. Day after day, these and other DEI installees lower the bar while they endanger and embarrass us at the same time.

Claudine Gay was excoriated for her antisemitism and plagiarism by all except for those who live and breathe DEI. Gay, the recipient of unearned esteem, not to mention salary, will now be able to parlay her unfortunate fall from grace into an even more lucrative arrangement -- a multi-million dollar book deal. This “in your face” double down is courtesy of several New York publishing houses. Judging from her resignation speech oozing with victimization and faux persecution, don’t expect an ounce of humility or regret between those vaunted pages. DEI beneficiaries are not particularly good at self-reflection. They are good, however, at discounting any character flaws by crying discrimination.
Other, even more ridiculous DEI double downs have made head-on contact with our dwindling sanity. Most are familiar with the virtue signaling by United Airlines and have read about their commitment to hire more women and minorities. Last year, they touted a (literally) ground breaking graduating class of 80% women and minorities. One of the graduates said that "flying is cool," so there’s no doubt we’ll be in good hands.

DEI is just the shiny new sledgehammer of the left. Soon they will have a newer weapon.
DEI is rusty old Kissing Black Ass. It’s an existential quest.
The DEI must DIE; it should be replaced by MIE-Merit-Independence-Equality, or perhaps the French LEF-Liberté, égalité, fraternité.
There is not presently and never will be equality
Having weaponized the Law, the Progressives have demonstrated beyond doubt that is not even the Jeffersonian equality under the law.
It resulted in a civil war within the Left over DEI, between BIPOCs who see Jews as white vs. Jews who insist they're nonwhite.
On the bright side DIE is having a bad year. I hope fat fanny in ATL gets put on trial for her adulterous sex and corruption crimes. I hope Wade’s ex wife testifies against fanny. I hope fanny gets humiliated and driven from office in disgrace.
In the words of the Cackling Hyena VP, “we brung it.”
“DEI is just the shiny new sledgehammer of the left. Soon they will have a newer weapon.”

I hope not. Because if they have something more effective than their “DEI sledgehammer”, then future generations of US conservatives had might as well just emigrate somewhere else now and save themselves the trouble.
DEI = license to steal and abuse
Once these “social movements” become institutionally inculcated, especially in government, they are nearly impossible to get rid of.
You’re talking about the US government. They were running water conservation commercials (add-counsel) on TV when New Orleans was under water (Katrina). Energystar is still a thing with them, as are baby seals, the ozone hole... What ever did happen with the ozone hole?
Anyways, you get positions that are created, budgets that are allotted, taxes that are levied, and even performance evaluations for managers and bonuses for the senior executive schedules that are based on compliance to these idiotic make belief fads that have no relationship to reality.
Once that train leaves the station, good luck stopping it and having it back up.
In 30 years, we could find ourselves in an ice-age, and the US government will still worry about climate change and CO2 production.
