There are currently no future touring plans in place for the Who, and Roger Daltrey is content with that.
The singer recently spoke with The Times about the band’s status, explaining that he’d need to discuss whatever happens next with bandmate Pete Townshend. “I don’t write the songs. I never did,” Daltrey said. “We need to sit down and have a meeting, but at the moment I’m happy saying that part of my life is over.”

John Entwisle died in a prostitutes arms in Vegas.
Who?
The Song Is Over.
He’s on first.
Its good for him he recognized that.
Getting old gracefully is a lesson 65 year-old Madonna would do well to learn
Saw The Who last year. Awesome show. Opened with Tommy, then went to some of their later hits, and then closed with Quadrophenia. Could not have asked for anything more. So glad we had the chance before they stopped touring.
The guy has a good voice. He might go places.
I looked it up. He's 79 years old.
“The Song Is Over”
A very nice, slowed down “Who” tune. Not a stinker in the whole lot of songs on LP Who’s Next.
He is about the same age as I am.
How in hell does he have that much hair?
“How in hell does he have that much hair?”
Genetics, and I have no doubt some hair plugs along the way. He had some thinning in the back 20 years ago and it “cleared up” 17 years ago”
Suggest to any Roger Daltrey and/or The Who fans, his autobiography ‘Thanks a lot Mr. Kibblewhite’. Interesting story of his life, and The Who.
That's a myth ; she died of a heart attack, no ham sandwiches were involved.
Daltry was one SERIOUS athlete, at least by looking at some of the scenes in Tommy. Rumor has it that he might not have even been a drug addict (but don’t hold me to that), which would be a first in that line of work.
These 60s musicians have/are going the way of AM radio.
Every week another station turns in it’s broadcast license.
I know, but that is a great urban myth, Cass is probably laughing along, although it is weird that Cass Elliott And Keith Moon died in the same room at age 32.
The same room and bed though as Keith moon strikes me as a really weird coincidence, true, but weird none the less.
Cass Elliot certainly did not choke on a sandwich.
Several hours after Elliot left Jack Martin’s cocktail party, she died in her sleep at age 32. According to Keith Simpson, who conducted her autopsy, she died of a heart attack, and there were no drugs in her system.
Roger is worth an estimated $100,000,000 dollars. Yeah, he can afford to retire.
“Keith Moon, died at the age of 32 in the same London hotel room as Cass Elliot...”
It’s not that big of a coincidence when you realize it wasn’t a hotel room. It was a flat that was owned by singer Harry Nilsson, who hardly ever used it, so he often let other musicians he was friends with stay there when he wasn’t in London.
