Taylor Swift’s performative activism is getting tiresome — and transparently hypocritical.
Now that she is the Democrats’ official cultural vector for promoting their left-wing agenda, the mega pop star has become more than ubiquitous. She is being forcibly crammed down everyone’s throats. Her media saturation level is somewhere near Hurricane Katrina. Even NFL fans who just want to enjoy the game have no choice but to watch Clockwork Orange-style as she cheers on her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend in cringeworthy style.
Left-wing and establishment media can’t help fantasizing about how Swift’s massive pop culture sway could “save Joe Biden” in next year’s presidential election.
The good news is that the more overexposed Swift gets, the greater her political hypocrisy shines through her media-crafted image. And the more hollow her activism becomes, the more people will tune out, especially as she inevitably ramps up her political hectoring heading into 2024.
Make no mistake: Democrats will weaponize Taylor Swift with all their might in next year’s presidential election. With any luck, the backlash will be cresting around the same time.

Exactly what I thought reading the headline. Enough already. Who in blazes cares about her? What's she paying her PR firm for all the publicity? Remember, there is no bad publicity.
The old movie moguls like Sam Goldwyn would never let their stable of contract stars do political rallies or support particular candidates. It was verboten without studio approval and a carefully crafted script to use, if allowed at all.
Goldwyn and the others knew that politics would sever half their prospective audience and that would lose box office dollars. Alienating half your audience isn’t good for business or Hollywood careers......................

I’ve never heard any of her “music” or watched her. And I’m so tired of seeing that skank on every Fox News’ website “Breaking News” section. Go away, bitch.
Unfortunately, they probably do. As Rush would like to call them...the young minds full of mush. She is someone that people, especially young people, listen to. Doesn’t necessarily mean they will pull the lever for Biden, but most of her “followers” likely will.
It’s a numbers game. Decades ago, I was a cashier. People would buy tabloids with screaming headlines like, “I had Elvis’ Alien baby.” I’d chat with them and get responses like, “The government’s keeping this from us.” Elvis had been dead for some time at that point. Those tabloids sold well. The Taylor Swift crowd is the same audience. That kind of attention is power of sorts.
Imagine a normal distribution curve showing IQ. The high point is 100. Half the population is on the left, meaning less than a hundred. A large percentage of them are Swift fans and they vote.
Was Farmer McDonald as queer as Travis Kelce and Tailor Swift?
