[Response to a ignorant liberal question] Why has no one helped the Palestinians during their fight with Israel? What would happen if someone did help them?

Muslim terrorists have tremendous help from their terrorists brethren, mainly Iran, but including godless communists, plus Russia, by which and we daily see what happens as a result:

Hamas has developed a vast arsenal in blockaded Gaza

AP News Mar 25, 2019 — Over more than a decade, the Islamic militant Hamas group has built up a large arsenal of rockets and missiles. It started with crude short-range projectiles and now possesses rockets that can strike virtually anywhere in Israel…

Hamas seized control of Gaza in 2007, prompting Israel and Egypt to impose a blockade on the territory, largely to prevent the militants from amassing more weapons. But the blockade and three wars with Israel — the most recent in 2014 — failed to prevent Hamas from expanding its arsenal.

Gabi Siboni, an Israeli military analyst, said Hamas “has a variety of advanced, precise, and effective weaponry.” He said this includes guided anti-tank missiles and shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missiles, both produced by Russia, as well as some drones.

How Hamas amassed thousands of rockets to strike at Israel

ASSOCIATED PRESS MAY 20, 2021 5:56 AM PT

In the fourth war between Israel and Gaza’s Hamas rulers, the Islamic militant group has fired more than 4,000 rockets at Israel, some hitting deeper inside Israeli territory and with greater accuracy than ever before… a homegrown arsenal that has only expanded despite the chokehold of a 14-year Israeli-Egyptian blockade…

“The magnitude of [Hamas’] bombing is much bigger and the precision is much better in this conflict,” said Mkhaimar Abusada, a professor of political science at Al Azhar University in Gaza City.

Gaza militants stocked up on foreign-made rockets with enhanced ranges, such as Katyushas and the Iranian-supplied Fajr-5, which were used during the 2008 and 2012 wars with Israel..

Hamas has publicly praised Iran for its assistance, The Israeli military estimates that, before the current round of fighting, Hamas had an arsenal of 7,000 rockets of varying ranges that can cover nearly all of Israel, as well as 300 anti-tank and 100 antiaircraft missiles. It also has acquired dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles and has an army of about 30,000 militants, including 400 naval commandos.

What We Know About Hamas' Huge Rocket Arsenal

Oct 31, 2023 at 6:21 PM EDT

Fabian Hinz, a research fellow specializing in defense and military analysis at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, shared with Newsweek a list of known rockets in Hamas' possession, including

Hinz said the full degree of Hamas' smuggling networks are still not entirely known, but that they extend all the way to Iran, Iraq and Syria and across the waters of the Mediterranean into Libya, Sudan and Egypt, which borders Gaza and its intricate network of underground tunnels. Documentaries over the years have shown the group purporting to assemble parts from water pipes, old grenades from World War I shipwrecks and even ammonium chloride smuggled through Israel itself…

Further highlighting Iran's role, Hinz pointed to apparent intelligence leaks that appear to show the work of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force Unit 340,…

Hamas’ Advanced Weaponry: Rockets, Artillery, Drones, Cyber

“Hamas, with Iranian and Hizbullah logistical support, has mastered the art of sneaking in critical shipments coming from Libya or transiting via Sudan, using generous cash payments to tribes or even bribes to Egyptian military officers,” Hamas expert Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib reported in June for the Washington Institute for Near East Policy…

The IDF identified a Hamas naval commando base with a tunnel extending dozens of meters into the sea. An investigation showed that the beach base containing the tunnel was financed with funds siphoned from the UN Development Agency. For many years, weapons for Hamas have been dropped into the sea in sealed capsules miles off the coast of Gaza…

In the 11 days of the 2021 war, Hamas launched 400 rockets a day, nearly four times the daily average number of launches in 2014. Hamas also launched six suicide drones during the war. All were intercepted by Israel, some by classified means…

The IDF noted that Hamas has “unmanned submarines that operate autonomously and navigate using GPS.”..

Hamas established electronic warfare units that sought to neutralize Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system and disrupt IDF communications. One of these units was based in the Jalaa building in Gaza City, which also housed the Associated Press and Al Jazeera. Israel struck at least 10 Hamas cyber and electronic warfare targets during the war.

[3]

Gaza is plagued by poverty, but Hamas has no shortage of cash. Where does it come from?

The unemployment rate in Gaza is 47% and more than 80% of its population lives in poverty, according to the United Nations. Hamas, however, has funded an armed force of thousands equipped with rockets and drones and built a vast web of tunnels under Gaza. Estimates of its annual military budget range from $100 million to $350 million, according to Israeli and Palestinian sources.

Since coming to power in the Gaza Strip 17 years ago, Hamas has filled its coffers with hundreds of millions in international aid, overt and covert injections of cash from Iran and other ideological partners, as well as cryptocurrency, taxes, extortion and smuggling, according to current and former U.S. officials and regional experts….

Last year, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh told Al Jazeera that Iran paid $70 million to the group to support its defense plan. …

After its takeover of Gaza, Hamas also “developed the capability to tax and extort,” said Matthew Levitt, who worked as a senior Treasury official focusing on countering terrorist financial networks. Hamas began to rake in taxes and kickbacks from salaries, sale of goods and smuggling, a sum that now reaches up to $300 million to $450 million a year, said Levitt, now at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy think tank…

In addition to Iran’s support, Hamas has long relied on funds from other ideological allies, including private donations and groups in Turkey, Kuwait and Malaysia, former U.S. counterterrorism officials said…

An Israeli official said that Hamas failed to use the opportunity offered by international aid and other financial assistance to improve the lives of Palestinians in Gaza….“In retrospect, it was a mistake to allow a terrorist organization to control the Gaza Strip. We intend to rectify that mistake now."

[4]

All of which is part of a movement, which Muslims such as Sheikh Raed Salah are part of, which has

the goal of creating a worldwide Islamic caliphate in the spirit of Muhammad…shared, in one form or another, by the Muslim Brotherhood(1) and by the Hamas and al-Qaeda terror organizations….This global entity will amend the Muslim word’s fragmentation into states and constitute part of the conquest of Christianity, Europe, and the West as a whole. Salah, whose doctrine is clear-cut, speaks openly of “the global caliphate whose capital is Jerusalem,” which will be “the last stage in the history of the Muslim nation until the End of Days.”(3)

[5]

And thus HAMAS. as a Muslim (a false religion) entity, is not simply an enemy of Israel (who has the right to the land, having lost their ancient homeland to invader/conquerors, the last of whom gave the Jews a portion back, while the Muslims refused to accept), but to the entire non-Muslim world…

Yet Muslims fight with each other more than any other single nation (Almost all of the human impact of extremist attacks is Muslims killing or injuring fellow Muslims.

The only hope for peace was born in the Middle East, and whose name (Yeshua/Jesus) thanks be to God.

Just ask the Jordanians about their experiences with Palestinian citizens and why they don’t want them.

And yet the Left advocates in behalf of murderous HAMAS, cousins to abortion promoters, who mutilate bodies inside the womb, while HAMAS usually does so l outside. Location, location (and degree of functionality or religion), as proxy servants of the devil.

Every other Arab country hates them as well. Egypt built a wall to keep them out. If you spent decades undermining the country (Israel) where you live, no one wants you in their country because you might do the same thing there.

Because everyone, especially fellow Muslims, know that the Fakestinian “narrative” is a pack of lies.
And they simply don’t want to ally with or help the Fakestinian murder gangs in slaughtering innocent people. That is, they may or may not know any Israelis. They may or may not like them. But they do know there is a God and a judgment to come. Allying with mass- murdering liars is not a success strategy. Indeed, it’s a ticket straight to Jahannam (Hell).

The stupid people keep trying to anthropomorphize Muslim savages into salvageable members of society. They'd have better luck putting little white gloves on a mouse and calling it "Mickey".

In the 1970s the Palestinians in Jordan staged a revolt against their hosts the Hashmite Kingdom of Jordan. The Jordanian King Hussein responded with a crackdown that killed some 25,000 of them. Even though the current King (Hussein’s son) is married to a Palestinian I am sure he’s not anxious for a repeat of that. The Queen will make some sympathetic noises in general support of Palestinian issues but that’s all that will happen. The Jordanian tribes that support the King and the Palestinians do not like each other and never have. They are very different culturally.

They got booted from Kuwait when they sided with Saddam after the invasion. Talk about not knowing the room. I think most Arab countries have a quota against them.

Bibi admitted Hamas was a Zionist creation, but who cares about that on FR? Ever heard of the Balfour Declaration? It’s not just a Muslim issue, but Palestinian Christians, too, who are all but fogotten in this Chaos.

Quora is nothing but an echo chamber for the lefties, just like the Huffpo and the DUmpster.

Actually it is not, though overall non-Christian and anti-theist predominate on matters of Christian faith and evolution. Questions about Palestinians vs. Israel see a majority of pro-Israel answers, often quite substantial, and questions about the right to bear arms also predominate sees pro-2nd amendment replies. Plus many extensive positive answers on WW2 etc.

The fact that it almost always allows my conservative answers sets it apart from the likes of Huffpo and the DU, and even so-called "Christian forums" which expelled me. However, in the past Quora did engage in more censorship based upon subjective criteria.

Are the Palestinians right to cut all ties with America and Israel?

Why do people support Israel when they took the country from Palestinians?

Is Israel's invasion of Gaza ultimately aimed at maintaining and expanding its control over land and resources, regardless of the devastating impact on Palestinian lives?

Why does the right to bear arms seem to matter so much more to some Americans than other rights?

Just like the Russian Bolshevik party is a Imperial German army creation!

Age old tactic! (See Sun Tzu) Exploit the factions within your enemy. In this case it was the PLO - Factions the Sunni\Shia fissure ( There were and still are others!). It’s attractive because you think you’re striking at the enemy on the cheap. Unfortunately this type of weapon is hard to put back in the holster.

Historically you trade an uncertain future for success in the present.

Bibi admitted Hamas was a Zionist creation... Ever heard of the Balfour Declaration?

Absurd. Balfour "indirectly led to the emergence of Israel and is considered a principal cause of the ongoing Israeli–Palestinian conflict," (WP) yet the Jews had a right to their historical homeland, which was lost to conquerors (due to impenitent disobedience) and thru a secession of which were provided a portion of that promised land back, but which the antisemitic Muslim squatters would not tolerate. Remove Islam and you have peace. It’s not just a Muslim issue, but Palestinian Christians, too, who are all but fogotten in this Chaos.

Since 98% of Palestinians identify as Sunni Muslims - who overwhelmingly support Hamas, whom it uses as shields, and dissent is squashed by them, then it is no wonder Palestinian Christians are all but forgotten. And if 98% of Palestinians were truly Christians, there would be peace and trade etc.

Yet since it is not, then Hamas must be eliminated Israel has striven to minimize civilian casualties in Gaza. Including IDF making phone calls and sends text messages to civilians residing in buildings designated for attack. In the following video, you can hear a recording of an IDF soldier calling a Gazan to warn him of an impending airstrike in his vicinity. The Israel Air Force has dropped leaflets over Gaza that warn civilians to avoid being present in the vicinity of Hamas operatives.

“Roof knocking” is when the IAF targets a building with a loud but non-lethal bomb that warns civilians that they are in the vicinity of a weapons cache or other target. This method is used to allow all residents to leave the area before the IDF targets the site with live ammunition.

The following video demonstrates how Hamas exploits the IDF’s efforts to avoid civilian casualties. On July 9, Palestinians fled a Hamas target after the IAF fired a warning shot. Moments later, people in the surrounding area flocked to the roof of the target, acting as human shields. The IAF called off the strike to avoid civilian casualties. (https://www.idf.il/en/mini-sites/the-hamas-terrorist-organization/how-is-the-idf-minimizing-harm-to-civilians-in-gaza/)

Informing the equivalent of nazi supporters where the next strike will be enables the murders themselves to flee.

But maybe you side with Amnesty Int.
