California does it, votes to force residents to drink toilet water

Not only does the left want you to eat bugs over a steak dinner, they also want you to wash it down with toilet water — all in the name of saving the planet, of course.

California regulators approved new rules on Tuesday allowing water agencies to “recycle wastewater and put it right back into the pipes that carry drinking water to homes, schools and businesses,” the Associated Press reported.

Ok, so you’re not particular about what water you drink. Do you keep dewormer in your medicine cabinet?

In Florida drinking water wells have to be at least 75 feet from septic tanks and drainfields.

“and what will be the source of the bottle water?”

Good point.

In my area the sources for the drinking water from the water ultility are so bad you can at times smell the chlorine in the water - apparently needed to clean it up. From the start, many years ago, I decided that my house would excslusively use bottled water for drinking and cooking. Have never found a good reason to change that.

Not that it can’t be done. They do it on the space station, have done for years and years.

But it requires lots of energy, which CA is already short of.

And it requires competent engineers, techs and managers, which won’t happen because DEI.

Eliminate the water consumption demand of a couple million illegals and the situation gets less critical, but Noisome won’t do that.

Quit draining reservoirs to maintain a useless fish - but Noisome won’t do that.

Und-und-und.....

In Oregon a whole reservoir was drained because someone saw someone peeing in it.

The left undermining its own agenda: more plastic into the sea as people choose water with less pee.

Nummy toilet water! But make sure and drain the reservoirs first! Can’t have those pesky citizens asking why THAT water can’t be used for drinking 😉

The animal waste is where all the nutrients are.

Nothing new. As they say, the beer you drink in St Louis has already been drunk three times before.

The fruit and veggies you eat might have had animal waste deposited on some of them.

Heck ... they might have had illegal alien waste deposited on some of them.

I guess their bright university students failed to realize that there are over 18,000 desalination plants around the world and they work just fine. Hate to see their testing fail and customers drinking contaminated toilet water.

I used to go fishing in the T. Howard Duckett reservoir, in Maryland. Picnic areas around it were posted with the sign “Commit No Nuisance”. You probably know what that means.

I guarantee you: the fish, beavers, deer, foxes, birds, turtles, etc. weren’t paying that sign any attention.

I said nothing of the sort. I just stated a fact.

El Cajon has done this for probably near 60+ years...had relatives who lived there...water taste was awful

Ick. My decision to sell my interest in my mom's home in Raunchy San Diego was well considered. Proceeds invested in my 2nd house in Idaho. My sister lives nearby and owns the house now.
