Guy Fieri revealed what it will take for his sons to inherit his multi-million dollar fortune. “Shaq said it best,” the “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” star told Fox News on Wednesday. “Shaq said, ‘If you want this cheese, you got to get two degrees.’” “Well, my two degrees mean, you know, postgraduate.”
Fieri shares Hunter, 27, and Ryder, 17, with his wife, Lori, 52. He also helped raise his sister Morgan’s 22-year-old son, Jules, following her 2011 death.
He warned the three to expect him “to die” broke unless they follow his conditions. “I told my boys, ‘None of this that we’ve been . . . that I’ve been building are you going to get unless you come and take it from me,'” the celebrity chef explained.

Liberals are only liberal outwardly. Inwardly, where it concerns their own interests, they are unabashedly conservative.
Liberalism is used to bring down other people, relatively speaking.

I wonder if, his children were apt, if he would have paid for tutors to speed up their education and to make sure they got a real education and not a publicly funded one?

That is VERY True. My sister taught math for 45 years the last 15 in an inner city Baltimore school. In the faculty lounge, all the teachers tried to out-Woke and out-liberal each other. But my sister notices that they all had good conservative values and taught hard work, being on time, turning in homework, excelling, high achievement, etc. My sister always laughed that they were closet conservatives and didn’t even know it.
I used to believe in the necessity of
‘getting a degree!!’ in order to increase your hiring potential, but that was some 40 years ago. Much has changed since then. Practical experience and being able to work with people you don’t even like b/c it’s your job, are just as important, if not more.
The people you call liberals are not liberals in the slightest. I think it’s a mistake to give them credit they do not deserve.

I agree.
I applaud Fieri for having expectations and not just throwing tons of money at his kids. He’s doing the right thing. But I’m totally done with the idea of college. Young people can have better lives if they skip that path and just become hard workers in the real world. But it’s his money, his rules.

Yes, but I wonder for the future. After the COVID lockdown, many young people won’t have basic skills. If you can get a decent education, you may be very employable in the future.
I think Guy is a Trump supporter. He got crap for talking to Trump at one of the fights Trump attended. Guy’s oldest son is featured on his show a lot. Very nice young man
I don’t know. I guess he’s trying to be ‘edgy’ or ‘cool’ and part of the braggarts like Buffet who think it’s cool to tell their kids they’re giving away all their wealth.
I don’t understand their mentality. It seems like a pretty normal and moral thing to do is to pass your inheritance on to your children. This is just another way of the elites to break apart and demean the family structure in my opinion. Trying to make it “cool” to disinherit your own family. Just like Americans have been disinherited of their birthright by foreign invaders taking everything over and stealing from us.
Guy recently bought Florida property about 2-3 miles away from me. His neighbors tell me, when finished, it will be a 50 million dollar property. Seems high to me but he’s on the inter coastal about 10 miles or less from Trump
