FDA Recalls 48,000 Cans of Diet Coke, Spite and Fanta Contaminated with ‘Foreign Material’

Coca-Cola has recalled tens of thousands of Diet Coke, Sprite, and Fanta cans after suspicion they may be contaminated with ‘foreign material,’ the FDA said.
Nearly 2,000 cases sold in Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida since November 6 have been affected.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall in a filing.
The FDA said the recall is complete, and no more affected cans are on the market.
The contaminated cans were manufactured by United Packers in Alabama, according to The Daily Mail.
The recall included 12-ounce aluminum cans, but they did not specify what the ‘foreign material’ was.
This isn’t the first time Coca-Cola has recalled products.
In 2021, the company recalled 7,000 cases of Minute Maid juice after objects such as washers or bolts were found.
This is the second time Coca-Cola has recalled products due to foreign material. In 2021, the company recalled 7,000 cases of Minute Maid juice for containing objects such as washers or bolts.
The affected flavors included Berry Punch, Strawberry Lemonade, and Fruit Punch.
The new recall was classified as a Class II, indicating a circumstance in which a ‘violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.’
Consumers have been urged to discard any affected cans and not drink from them.

LOL...that is a great commercial. I never saw it before.
Too bad it isn’t a clear, hi-def video. I wonder how video gets so blurry and muddy. It almost looks like somebody video’d a TV screen playing that commercial and then copied the VHS tape several times.
