@RepThomasMassie
Here are the 118 Representatives who voted to protect your right to privacy. (Nay to FISA warrantless surveillance as part of NDAA)
We lost but it was close. We needed 143 votes (1/3) to stop FISA since they suspended the rules to bring it to the floor.

I knew that bastard Elzey would vote for warrantless wiretaps.
Ted Cruz voting for it yesterday surprised me though.
To: Dalberg-Acton
As it did me. Have you got an explanation from Cruz yet? I’d like to hear it frankly

I haven’t. Then again, I was given a number of “time outs” for being vocal about Tea Party/libertarian as an option to the GOP.
For the record, my milquetoast Representative, Tom Emmer (R-MN), voted for this crap. So much for the House Majority Whip being any kind of a conservative.

I wish I could say Emmer surprised me... but he’s going the McConnell/McCarthy/quisling-GOP route...

Can someone explain how we should monitor the electronic communications of terrorists and spies without FISA.

Any time it is a close vote like that, you can be sure that many people who would otherwise vote for, were given a pass to vote against, since TPTB already knew it wasn’t going to pass.

Ted Cruz voting for it yesterday surprised me though. Not me. He talks a good game, but when the chips are down, he's effectively establishment.

Can someone explain how we should monitor the electronic communications of terrorists and spies without FISA.They can get a freaking warrant just like it is specified in the Constitution, that's how. It isn't like they don't have rubber stamps they have on speed dial that will sign of on anything requested. They should have to at least pretend that the Constitution means something.
I'm not surprised one tiny bit that you support this crap.
