-Avoid mouldy grains, nuts and apples -Avoid mouldy soft cheese, berries and bread -But some cheeses ARE safe One of the only foods you can eat even if it is mouldy is hard cheese.
'Hard, dense foods like hard cheeses or firm fruits and vegetables are more resistant to penetration by the mould so the mould could be cut out and the food consumed', he added.
To be safe Dr Fuchs recommends people cut off about 2.5cm of food around and below the mouldy area.
However, when mould is specifically used to make a product, such as blue cheese, it is safe to eat.

People eat Democratic Propaganda and it’s moldy as hell.
It might depend on how hungry you are. According to the media, nearly everyone is hungry/starving.
Mold on ze bugs means extra flavor.
Wow, what a useless article (information-wise).
Aspergillus-tainted asparagus...yum.
Exactly what I was thinking....
Blue Cheese!!
I have always just cut away any mold that has just started forming on hard cheeses. So I guess I am prepared. Good cheese is pricey so I am not going to throw away a large amount of cheese just because of a tiny amount of mold. Fruit is another story. If one berry has mold visible to the eye you can be sure the others do too (even if you can’t see it) so all the berries get tossed. Same for dairy like soft cheeses, sour cream, and yogurt. If you see mold you can be sure the whole container is going bad and toss it.
My estimate is 50 cents per kwh right now (including base charge and taxes), was even higher earlier in the year. The two main factors for driving the price so high are allowing Greta to run energy policy, and the IDIOTIC attempt to ‘punish’ Russia for Ukraine by cutting off their energy imports.
People in the UK are now learning to live without refrigeration (there have been articles on it), which is why they’re talking about moldy food.
How about owning nothing, eating moldy bugs, and being happy?
Yup.
The serfs are going to be taken back to the 14th century, and they need to be taught how to survive in a time of famine. Burning witches helps, sure, but being willing to eat moldy food is also a wise strategy.
Cutting mold off cheese and eating the cheese is very normal. Some sausages or salamis have mold on the casing as well, no big deal.

Hahahahaha!

2.5 cm = approx 1 inch, doesn’t it.
That’s quite a large percentage of cheese, if the wedge is small.
Wonder how that would make your pee smell.
No thanks. I’ll stick to fresh food.
