The very first one is dead wrong. Studies have shown that Gen Z are the biggest suckers for scam calls, they’ll apparently believe anything.

Unfortunately boomers grew up in a rapid economic upward movement. The liberal/progressives used boomers wealth to overspend on entitlements and defense. We could only afford one or the other. Boomers are the voting power through early 21st century. The unfounded liabilities are 100 trillion and a deficit of 33Trillion. The boomer children are either Gen-X and Gen-Y. Not enough Gen-X to have a generational control. So boomers had too much wealth too fast with limited downward adversity. Unfortunately it’s not just boomers but Americans as a group continue to spend future generations money. Tax rates will spiral out of control.
I really have no clue who owns this shit show. The deficit is more current population but the unfounded liabilities are square on boomers. It ends up a wash but no one is going to escape the pain. The only real way to escape, we don’t have the spine to do it. Either cut entitlement or us that military power to force other countries to pay it through brutal colonization.
Fax machines will NOT disappear. In the age of government dependency, government offices rely on fax machines to receive information from their peons so that Medicaid and SSI benefits can be acquired or maintained.
Pharmacies and doctors’ offices use them as well. You’d be surprised how many EScript requests fail because there’s no profile.

Or did they? As I see it, the ‘Greatest Generation’ was AOL when Hard Left was making their moves on their kids, starting with the Universities and then the Public Schools. The ‘Greatest Generation’ kept feeding their kids to these monsters, thinking that these institutions were still ‘great’.
And that idiocy never ends - even here, at FR of all places, we STILL have people who CONTINUE to think that their ‘wonderful public schools’ are somehow immune from this crap, and therefore they buy the bigger house, the F150, and/or the boat, rather than spend a dime on their own kids to keep them clear of these HORRIFIC people.
Silverware and china cabinets? What are people going to use to put food on and eat with? And what happens to all of the silver that has been handed down for generations?
I doubt that certain members of the high social strata will ditch all of these things and the same is also true re photo albums and ancient unmounted tintypes and photos.
Spam calls? They come on smart phone too, not only the landline ones! So HOW will they be stopped?

Here’s what isn’t going to disappear with the Boomers:
The real estate they’ve paid off.
The Baby Boomers were the Woodstock generation and the worst generation this country produced until they formed breeding pairs. They achieved self-actualization through moral exhibitionism and militant self-absorption, while ignoring the nobility their parents achieved by enduring the Depression and WW II.
Their parents misapplied worthwhile insights of Dr. Spock. His asymmetrical definition of common sense did not balance love and affection with standards for behavior, self-control, and respect. For many parents then, his definition of common sense meant providing every advantage they had missed.
In the process of catering to children’s feelings and preferences, the Greatest Generation raised defiant, narcissistic offspring who viewed gratification as a right. Rather than examples to emulate, Boomer parents were merely vending machines required to fulfill material desires during times of unimagined plenty.
These Boomers have an unprecedented focus on self. With them the divorce rate first exceeded the marriage rate. When in powerful positions they seek policies of moral diversity/perversity, and material comfort to transform the country from the Arsenal of Democracy into just another Gulag of apostasy, greed, and dependency.
Worst of all Boomers begat through multi-generational psychological incest a legacy of ideologically mutant children and grandchildren. The Boomer offspring have become the Snowflakes, Transgenders, and whatever of present times. These descendants are contra-educated to abhor the Constitution, the virtuous and valorous founding of our country, and classical liberal principles found in values of the Enlightenment. They are perpetual children without essential humanity; empty, ignorant, feckless, emotional, overactive, under challenged, and now can’t even figure out what sex they are.

All the subsequent generations are caterwauling about how they can't afford a home, or how rent is out of control, or generally how bad things are. Yet these same generations keep voting for Democrats because all the celebrities do and because the TeeVee tells them, and they continue to be flummoxed as why things are so bad and blame the greedy Boomers for taking everything.
Yeah, those "greedy Boomers" largely kept the Marxist Democrats at bay. You invited them in with open arms, because, you know, abortion and gay "pride" and stuff.
Well, pagers, VHS and video rental stores are on the list. Was the list made in 2000?
