Agreed. But they did fight a big azz war with brutal efficiency. FDR was a commie that made the great recessions into the great and long depression. Europe was a big contributor to it also.
No. The Greater Generation were teenagers in the 1930s (which is why they were of military service age in the 1940s). They never "gave" FDR or the New Deal to anyone.

1913 was the death of the republic. FDR was the icing on the cake. Our republic was dead and buried long before the boomers came along.
