Bud Light has teamed up with NFL legends Peyton Manning and Emmitt Smith in a bid to boost sales following its PR disaster with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney which saw customers boycott the brand.
The Pro Football Hall of Famers star in a new commercial released ahead of the Super Bowl which kicks off in two months time at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium.
The brand remained the official NFL sponsor despite sales plummeting 30 percent amid controversy over its decision to partner with Mulvaney for a campaign.
The influencer, 26, partnered with the beer brand in April for their March Madness NCAA campaign and was sent a personalized can as part of the promotion.
But the backlash caused Bud Light's parent company, Anheuser-Busch, to lose $400million in sales as transphobic fans shunned the brand and others who felt the it did not do enough to defend Mulvaney also boycotted.
heir total US revenue dropped 10.5 percent compared to the year before, forcing its chief US marketing officer to stand down after the beer was knocked off its top spot as the country's bestseller.
Bud Light's new advert sees Manning order a round of beers for the bar before firing them out to patrons, with help from Smith.
In typical quarterback style, Manning drops back and starts passing cans of Bud Light before Smith joins the crowd to call the touchdown.
The campaign also kicks off the chance for fans to win Playoff and Super Bowl tickets by scanning QR codes on their cans.

Bud Light = Tranny Fluid
Yep
I agree
I noticed that about him a long time ago
yes
I agree
They don’t need the money
It’s for “the cause”
Manning and Smith will forever be associated with Mulvaney now.
Wake me up when the Board fires the CEO who was ultimately responsible for this and fired the folks below him while trying to keep his own pay check
“The influencer” seriously who here buys something just because somebody said so? Dana White said it best when Pelotron contacted him after he posted a political video on his own personal media thingy (I have never participated in any of them ever)He said Go yourself. Beyond the fact that the beer is not that good ...I get that they have done some great things with the profit ...but to go from helping the wounded military to a tranny is not a principled outreach. This is beer ...it is cheap to make/budweiser lost it when they started shipping syrup .....buy local at least you will know your water source....and the beauty is “put your money back from whence it came and your bound to see it again.”
When I was younger I had a philosophy about mistakes.
When you make a mistake:
1) Admit it.
2) Correct it.
3) Move on.
In that order.
Lived and continue to live my life by this simple rule.
Bud light has not even taken step 1.
Wow! I didn’t know that Peyton Manning and Emmitt Smith were gay.
So transexual is now a subsection “class” of our country? When did perversion become mainstream? I will go by the Bible....your justification is beyond principled reasoning in my opinion.
Peyton didn’t get rich by turning down work
Twenty bucks is twenty bucks.
you should actually read what I was replying to.
It is absolutely a terrible beer. I love beer. I’ve tried thousands of brews. Bud Light is undrinkable. Ive been drinking beer for 40 years, I have never purchased a Bud Light. Ive only drank 3 in my entire life. My go to is an old classic Moosehead Lager, but Harpoon IPA and Sierra Pale Ale are always in the rotation. God is Great, Beer is good and People are crazy
Pay me a million dollars and I’d gladly host a toast of beer cans with the homo activist.
Pedal pushers...almost....Very little good defense..4 yard pass...run for4...tush push...1st down. Bow-ring.
Some call it “basketball on grass”

Last I heard Archie was still alive and well and living above ground.
I like Peyton and Emmitt, and still do...but I won’t buy Bud Light.
Never heard of this, but Dylan would like that very much.
