Nearly two decades ago, I left my hometown for Lackland Air Force Base. Every enlisted airman since 1968 has completed Basic Military Training at this historic base in the Alamo City. First, trainees work to graduate from being a “rainbow,” referring to the mixed colors of their civilian clothing, which involves getting a free haircut, getting new uniforms, and learning how to move in a formation. Trainees are further unified by reminders from military training instructors that they are no longer “back on the block,” and from here on out, they “all bleed blue!”
Trainees from across America are honed into a team of airmen. The military has always excelled at forming our diverse citizenry into a unified force — it embraced “E pluribus unum.” However, the U.S. Air Force is currently indoctrinating airmen in neo-Marxist ideology and creating activists thorough its Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DIE) programs.
Some will push back and claim that DIE is simply about being inclusive of diverse viewpoints, and if this were the case, there would be little controversy. Yet when senior leaders discuss diversity, as in DIE, the word has a neo-Marxist meaning. Herbert Marcuse in his 1969 “Essay on Liberation“ stated the following: “the familiar (used and abused) vocabulary of freedom, justice, and equality could thus obtain not only new meaning but also new reality,” with a “methodical subversion of the linguistic of the Establishment.” Today, diversity as part of DIE is in line with Marcuse’s subversive definition, which is used in Critical Theory and its offspring, intersectionality.
Critical Theory and intersectionality spawned out of Marxist scholarship and have grown into legal studies, history, education, social sciences, and military studies. It undergirds identity politics, which has been institutionalized into the Air Force through Barrier Analysis Working Groups, or BAWGs.

Why is there no White Organizational Re-Structuring Team?
Reagan said that we’re only one generation away from losing liberty and brother, we’re there.
Seems this is a Marxist Dem program to get new recruits indoctrinated into Marxism so when the Dems decide to enact a Socialist Gov’t the armed military will obey commands to take control of the disarmed population. Lock and load.
Forty-three years ago at this time, I was on my way to Basic Training at Lackland. Today’s Air Force is not the Air Force I was a member of for seventeen years. I still get the AFA magazine monthly, and the only things the same are some base names, and even those are going away into history.
I separated, and while life has been hard, it's the best thing I ever did. I would not suggest that anyone enlist in the armed forces now, especially the AF.
I went through Officer Training School (OTS) during the summer south Texas heat of 1963. Wonderful experience...in retrospect. Zero DIE crap. Spent next 20 years between active and reserve duty. Some “indoctrination” started up in the later years of my career (late 70’s-early 80’s), mostly of the the racial and feminist variety. Hour long monthly group meetings usually run by chaplains as I recall. Never o btrusive or doctrinaire and just another task to kill time. Had fancy titles like “dynamics of moral leadership”, etc. Apparently from this inauspicious beginning the process has morphed into the disgusting, un-American brain washing that is known as DIE today. The one hope is that Americans of the type willing to serve still treat it as the bull shit that it is.

I was in the Navy for 20 years, 78-98. In the 80s black affirmative action was going 90 miles an hour. In the 90s it was female affirmative action. Watching lower qualified blacks and women getting promoted over white males causes low moral and destroys unit cohesiveness. Now let’s throw in a bunch of homosexuals and other weirdos. I’m sure it will be better.
To pass the classes you had to demonstrate how much you understood the black culture.
Meanwhile you NEVER wanted to EM club if you were a white guy.
General Daniel James selected me as the Outstanding Airman of the Year for 1976 at the base I was at. I was forced to go to Race Relations and almost received an Article 15 because I argued with the presenters when they told me the Sons of Confederate Veterans was a racist radical organization and the Black Panthers an altruistic beneficial organization. Finally a Chief pulled me aside and told me to just listen to them blow excrement and get the hell out of there. This was in the early 1970's.
When I received the AOY for the Medical Center, the base, and the command I would have never received it had I not been significantly superior because there were black females competing.
American citizens who tolerate the destruction of the USA, including the weakening of the US military, are also useful idiots.
The weakening of the US military leaves America and the rest of the world dangerously vulnerable. Anyone who cannot see this is a fool.
Honest, intelligent, benevolent people everywhere are aghast at the destruction of the USA.
Ultimately it is the America People who are responsible. They have the authority and the power to stop it. If they do not, they alone are responsible.
I was tossed out of the E-Club a few times. I rarely ever went to the E-Club or Club 19 unless I was really broke or there was a unit function. One really cold night I was heading to town when stepped into the club figured I would warm-up. Never made it to the bar before the manager (black SNCO) tossed me out. I forgot to take my knit hat off. I argued there were a lot of people in the club wearing pimp hats (disco night). He said that was part of their outfits. I unsuccessful argued that I was dressed as Charles Bronson, black leather coat and black knit hat🙄. He took my ID and tossed me. When I went to get my ID from the SgtMaj, he took me to the CO. The CO called the Clubs Director and basically complained about reverse hat discrimination. I got an apology, SgtMaj insisted that during theme nights if hats are allowed all hats are to be treated equally.
The American People will pay a heavy price for their apathy and folly.
I enlisted in the AF in the early 80’s. DEI was part of the BS back then. I saw blacks and women getting passed through all the training programs just so the AF could say they had blacks and women in the AF. I saw training programs passing flunkies just so they cold say they had a high pass rate. I saw women getting promoted through STEP programs just so the commander could say he has promoted women. That crap started long before the 80’s too.
Looks like "Diversity" overran the runway in this recent air mishap...

I’m older than you and can attest that this crap started in the latter half of the ‘60s and grew bigger in the ‘70s. It’s a true cancerous monstrousity now consuming our civilization.
In light of recent (past 100 years) history and current events, I am drawing the conclusion that “discrimination” against women and racial minorities in just, proper, and necessary for the survival of The Republic.
