its been great....I actually was here quite early, once we got fast internet...blue stain dress, quidam, tsumani, grey coats, DITHGF, etc etc...from rush to drudge to free republic...
quit for a while then came back....its too addictive....
thx to all....learned a lot from here.

If you don't mind my asking, what were the reasons for changing screen names? Banning? Old name too personal? Wanted to rid oneself of past posting histories?
Just curious, since I've had my one and only name for 23 years, and I'm quite proud of it.

I had a late night thread where my keyboard was on some sort of lock where it was mostly symbols and I could not figure out how to unlock it.
Had a column to get out by 5 am and so I posted the problem in the symbol mode.
Freeper save in less than 30 posts.
I wish I could find that link.
That and all the car buying threads....
And sometimes just the silly because we need it threads.

I remember when Sean Vannity had a grudge against FReepers (he called us "Freeps") because he didn't get the respect he thought he deserved. He still doesn't.
