I hope this Thanksgiving brings to mind many blessings our Lord has bestowed on us, chiefly the unveiling of Jesus Christ as Lord of all; above all circumstances this sinful world throws at us.
So say goodbye to those who suffer from tinnitus! I began taking Omega-3s to deal with bad cholesterol......and in ONE WEEK, tinnitus disappeared. No more annoying ringing in the ears. Gone.
I get a high-quality plant-based Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids (EFA) and Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) The product brand is from "Meta Genetics" and the company is from Standard Process. They do not sell directly, but once you establish an account with your naturopathic/holistic practitioner, you can order whatever you need.
My dosage is 4 soft gels, twice a day. Each soft gel has 180mg EFA and 120mg DHA.
Here are the benefits from EFA and DHA (there are a ton of benefits): https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/17-health-benefits-of-omega-3#TOC_TITLE_HDR_18 https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/dha-benefits
I hope this helps, God bless!
What if I don’t have a “naturopathic/holistic practitioner”? Any other way to get this, or something that will work as well?
Any way to get it without going through all that hassle you mentioned? Like just buy it at GNC or City Market? My tinnitus has lowered since I got hearing aids, though there’s no way to prove a connection.
There is no evidence of toxicity in either.

And yes, excessive vitamin D is well-known. Selenium is another. Calcium by itself, is bad unless taken with the co-factors needed for absorption. So many people are taking calcium for arthritis, oblivious of the need for co-factors to prevent clogging of arteries.
I got it after a different vaccine
One thing that has helped it is physical therapy for a vestibular condition that I had no idea I had.
You can do all of the physical therapies on your own. Can probably find stuff on youtube.
It has been amazing to see what affects me. It is pretty easy to retrain the brain. I have no idea if the retraining lasts or if you revert back
I want to try the prescription fish oil for cholesterol to see if it works for ear ringing
My hearing aids have a Tinnitus setting. It is supposed to be helpful if you use the setting for about a year.
I’m coming up on a year of using it, but I cannot tell any difference.
I asked about toxicology not toxicity.
Fatty acids are a key component of fat and they have potential to accumulate. Toxicology is data on various doses and tissue levels.
I can look it up later.
Plant based omega 3 don’t contain EPA or DHA they contain ALA which in small quantities the body can convert to the other two. Fish oil or krill oil is a much better source.
I didn’t know that, thanks!
I wish curing tinnitus were that easy. I’m afraid that taking “supplements” is not going to repair the physical damage in my ears.
On the bright side, VA considers tinnitus worth a 10% disability rating.
Both of the “Woods” had the same question.
If you do not have a naturopathic practitioner, search for the brand and see if they distribute by another means. If they don’t, it might mean they have an exclusive contract. But there are others on the market, mine is in the triglyceride form.
Also check out the post from jimwatx: fish or krill oil maybe a better option.
Tell me what you come up with.
Thanks, will check into that! Though for some reason I don’t notice the racket nearly as much as I used to. I may have accidentally done something that has helped. The funny thing that has happened since I got hearing aids is women come up to me at gigs and tell me they love my voice for the first time in many years of singing. It must help to be hearing what they are hearing, heh.

Happy Thanksgiving
Try adding selenium in addition to the EFA/DHA: highest form of natural selenium is found in Brazil nuts; with Vit D3, zinc, and Vit C.

I forgot to mention I was crunching down on Brazil nuts when I tried this.
I’ve been taking it for years and it’s still there. Consult your doctor. There are no magical solutions.
I’ve dealing with this affliction over the past several months, and especially weeks. Based on the responses thus far I think I will try Omega 3 Fish Oil and see if that helps.
That’s interesting, thanks I’ll check it out.
I have it real bad. About 10 years ago I played in a band where we had this drummer who insisted on hitting his crash cymbal extremely hard every freakin’ few seconds and I had to stand next to it because we were playing on a small stage in a bar and after a few times playing some gigs one night afterwards my left ear started heard sounds like a broken speaker.
Then I stopped playing with them and after a few week the distortion went away but now I have this eternal high pitched EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE sound like a dentists drill. At first it drove me crazy, I tried every trick imaginable then I found a video on Youtube that showed a way to meditate and convince my brain to ignore it like you would ignore all other extraneous sounds and it’s been no problem ever since. Of course it is still there but I just don’t care about it anymore.
I hope it works for all who give it a try.
My tinnitus sounds like hundreds of crickets chirping.
