Good afternoon everyone. I hope everyone is gearing up for the Thanksgiving holiday and ready to have a great time.
I wanted to keep this post short but I wanted to seek your opinions about supplements for treating Long Covid. As many of you know I contracted Covid and pneumonia early last year, and developed Long Covid late last year which resulted in me having to retire this past spring.
I have purchased several supplements over the past two years that I/we were told could possibly help treat the symptoms of Covid-19 & Long Covid, but which never really helped. Quercetin, Zinc, Vit C & D, Nattokinaise, Bromelain, and a few others.
Lately I have seen many advertisements for The Wellness Company, and one of their products is the Signature Series Spike Support Formula. It has the following ingredients: Nattokinase, Dandelion, Selenium, Black sativa, Green tea and Irish sea moss.
I emailed them and questioned them and this is the response I got, "Thank you for reaching out to TWC Customer Support. We have heard of people having great experiences with both Spike Support and Restful Sleep Supplements. Please remember these are supplements and to guaranteed to any possible conditions you may be experiencing. That last statement looks a bit weird and I'm wondering it there are a couple of typos there.
I'm seeking opinions on whether this stuff can really make a difference, or if they are just another money grabbing scheme. I know this no magic drug out there to treat Long Covid, but some days are difficult to endure and if I could find something that might actually help I'd be willing to give it a try.
I'm hoping there are doctors on these boards that would be willing to advise me. If you want to Freepmail me, please feel free to do so.
Thank you all for your help, and have a great Thanksgiving!

I don’t know what is recommended for B12. I just know what my bottle from Vitamin Shoppe says for mcg, which isn’t that different from other brands. People get IV’s with much, much higher doses.
Not sure if you already received this link. It’s a long covid protocol. The website has several protocols I found interesting (vax, sepsis etc.) and was formed by docs who proved themselves worthy during the Plandemic.

Know that I'm not a doctor, but I've been studying up on alternatives to the vaccine for my own family's benefit.
One last thing...
Since you mentioned insomnia as a symptom, you might want to take the L-Serine at bedtime. Take the other supplements as directed on the label.

How do you explain the fact that fully vaccinated people are 93% less likely to die of COVID compared to unvaccinated people?
You’re a troll and a liar, as are your sources.

Your typical response completely lacking all substance.
If you didn’t resort to name-calling, you’d have nothing to say.
That’s false; confirming my original charge.

When have you ever posted something substantive?
When have you ever posted without name calling?
Constantly.
When have you ever contributed anything other than $hot $hilling?
Troll.

Name names of real people whose “lives were saved by the vaxx” as you claimed or you are just speculating.

I wasn’t referring to the QAnon threads.
QTard.

So, IOW, you can’t explain the fact that fully vaccinated people are 93% less likely to die of COVID compared to unvaccinated people?
You would rather play games than admit that the vaccines have saved lives.
Neither was I.
It sucks to be you.
No idea. You could experiment with a higher dosage to see if it makes any difference… I told my family member to try it, if he didn’t see any change, take two for a month. I’m taking the recommended dose, have had no side effects, but also can’t tell if it’s doing me any good. I don’t have any Covid or vax damage, I’m taking it just to theoretically benefit my circulation. I will probably only take it for a month or two.

No.
IOW, you cannot prove your truth claim that “millions of lives were saved by the vaxx”
Even after 5 chances to prove it.
Of one provable named human.
Time to say it’s simply your opinion.
That’s fine.
An unanswered question is whether the micro clotting from “long Covid” or vax damage is a temporary problem that won’t return once it’s cleared out, or if it’s a continuing problem that will have to be continually cleared. This is all uncharted territory. But it seems like a reasonable guess that this would be a cause for brain fog and muscle fatigue. It’s worth exploring since the docs don’t really have an answer.
With something that’s 99.5% survivable to begin with, it seems hard to prove anything is improving on already pretty good chances. I protected myself with the usual quercetin/zinc - d3/k2 - magnesium combo. Did it work? Who knows? I didn’t get it. Is it because of my supplements? Or because I’m in generally good health? Couldn’t say. Family in my state ignored all the masking and quarantine rules, none of us vaxxed, none of us got it. Family in other states who did follow the rules got it and all of them got over it with no drama. So again, who knows…
I think that would depend on two things:
1) does the treatment fit the clots, or does it destroy the spike protein?
If it only attacks the clots instead of the spike protein, then it depends on if the spike protein either degrades on its own after time, or whether it is used up when it produces clots.
2) if the treatment attacks the spike protein, and there is no other systemic damage to the body, or reaction by the body (say, release of inflammatory signaling chemicals), then the clotting should go away on its own.
