doesnt look like a zucchini, it looks like a snake gourd. Edible but not as tasty as zucchini.

I harvested and ate all my zucchini well before they got that big. My biggest was about the size of a baseball bat. It had sneakily been growing on a part of the vine in the back of the raised bed. And boy, were they good!

there are varieties than can grow very long, but that is crazy.....I think if you have a long enough season and an area where the zuch can grow uninhibited, its possible apparently to get one that long....I also think he might have cut off other blossoms on the same plant to focus on that one big zucchini.
