That is so true. How ridiculous we must have looked. No wonder the aliens don’t stick around. They must shake their heads all the way back.
Lol they’re pretty darned fast to cancel school up here, too! And we’re supposed to be used to walking through 5 feet of snow, uphill both ways! I used to walk through unbelievably deep snow when I went to grade school.
Now, a mere forecast will send out the cancellation notices! Me thinks it has more to do with teacher’s unions than it does weather. It has more to do with “whether” than “weather”. Whether or not they feel like taking the day off!

I hope it happens! I suppose the documents will differentiate between who is a friend, recruiter, and victim. And they will probably hide the victim names. And what does it mean to be a friend? A client? Hopefully that’s what it means and it’s not something that people can just say oh I was only a friend.
Wow. The criminal gets to ride the taxpayer funded Marine One to spend a luxurious Christmas at The People’s House, along with his “family”, enjoying a feast (thanks again, taxpayers) and first-class warmth and comfort that most Americans only dream of. I wonder if Hunter will find time to go out and visit that vet I saw who was kicked out to accommodate an invader, sleeping with his dog under a tarp.

Actually Natalie might be the only one that is facing things sanely. I might just be naively not worrying about stuff day to day when I should be. Although worrying doesn’t really help anything but being aware of what’s Happening does or can when it happens and we’re not taken by surprise. I guess we need to know the boundary of what we can control and what we can’t. The Serenity Prayer might help

What a wonderful thing for the children to do.
I quit decorating a long time ago except for my son comes and puts lighted wreaths on my four outside lights and a couple of lights that project different colors onto my house.
My youngest daughter is having Christmas Eve at her house and it is potluck.
You have my vote/ditto on low key potluck with special people ( not necessarily family)
Just got back from shopping outing w son FoodLion our closest food store.
A food store outing a couple times a week is helpful for me to get a bit of walking in . Laundromat in next few days. Tiring n painful but necessary trip
Ate about 11. Had left over scratch tomato soup n scratch MAC Mixed together for very tasty meal. Have another for tomorrow. Not hungry Won’t eat again. Disgusting in a way but at 5PM ready for sleep

Well thanks, Dolly, but my issue is not really being unable to sleep. I can sleep standing up. My issue is having to empty my bladder several times every night. I don’t think there’s much you can help me with in that department lol. I’ve just decided to embrace the bit of exercise and sleep whenever I want.

Those work for me to eliminate the worst symptoms. I would have the cold and the tiredness, but the horrible unable-to-breath stuffiness and nasal drip get dried up.
Finally, Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream for the sore throat. Take liberally throughout your time of misery.
Even in the tropics, I still get colds. I’d rather have malaria.
