“That chicken is smelling mighty fine”
so after having turkey, you came home with the craving for chicken? That’s still better than me, we’re cooking the
a second turkey.
I didn’t have a turkey....not even back in October!
Not many in our gang like turkey. I can’t remember what we had.....I know there would have been spiral ham and scalloped potatoes. That’s why I got the hankering to roast a chicken....all the talk of turkey and stuffing and gravy.
Oh that’s right, you went over there for pizza. For some reason I understood that but then I had you going for a turkey dinner. And it’s not even your thanksgiving.
Back in my Seattle days, our cooking club had our quarterly cookoff close to Thanksgiving. We had goose instead of turkey. It was to die for.
You have had a busy day Young lady! I hope you take it easy this evening. And be proud of all you accomplished, especially still recovering from surgery
A month ago two days before my surgery he totaled his Jeep
He avoided a deer n found a tree
The vehicle was in rough shape. 1996 Jeep Three of electric windows down. Front end gone from three deer hits Both front doors had panels off. It was a blessing it happened and for now we’re going to just use my van
>>What do you do with the ground white meat from the turkey? It’s ground up after it’s cooked? Do you use it for sandwiches?
*********************************************
We buy several turkeys. Some white meat we cook, some we freeze and then cook, and some white meat Mr. K grinds and freezes, to be used in place of ground beef, oftentimes mixed with pork as well.
I just made my easy version of dolmathis, and used a combo of ground turkey and ground pork. The taste of mixing them together is one that we both enjoy.
@Cottonball: yes, de-salting and reflavoring them is good. Sometimes, depending on the source or brand, they are not so much salty as they are mostly vinegar (instead of olive oil).
Wow! He is fortunate that all that happened is broken ribs.
“It was to die for.” Lol is that what the goose said?
Oh man. We are completely to blame!
On behalf of Canada, my sincere apologies, unless you like it\, then, you’re welcome.
Well it sounds like your Greek/Southern American combo has got things down to a fine art. Good for you!
No dip again today. I did leave the cans of artichokes out on the counter though....sometimes it takes me awhile lol.
She must have some Canadian blood in her, because she's the only one in the family that loves this mix on her pizza! :)

Well the double post is blamed once again on the full moon!
HA!
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the prayer.
Lol I am so embarrassed.
Here I was wondering what the heck is wrong with you guys (apparently pizza with pineapple is the biggest seller in America) and here my own country came up with this debacle!
Well, hopefully our back bacon will help make up for it lol. I can’t think of anything else Canadian.....you guys have more maple syrup than us, so I can’t use that lol.
This is also a plus for us to try as we are in the battle of the convenience of online servers.
It's all about easy shopping from your home instead of mingling with the crowds!
I'm old school and still shop in person.
