Lol I think the opposite of award is punishment. But your posts are fine, so no worries.
Haven’t done the dip yet. Even lazier today than I was yesterday lol, which is pretty hard to believe. Going to take a nap then pop a chicken into the oven.
Norsky, are those kickback numbers legit? Where is that information?
Hymns were used to teach doctrine as well.
People could not read, but they could sing and learn the words to songs by listening.
Good afternoon Judy. Another cold day here.
I liked chewing on the gizzard. Not fond of the liver. Although I do like beef liver if cooked right.
“Hymns were used to teach doctrine as well.”
Very neat, and clever too.
Martin Luther stated that the melodies of hymns should be simple and the lyrics easy to remember for the precise purpose of teaching doctrine.
How do the services work?
I watched one last night, obviously a rerun. I guess it was from last sunday? So now I’m trying to watch one and I have to wait 30 seconds. Not that that’s a big deal but couldn’t I watch the rerun from this morning?
.......
I am look'n n look'n, even here, still look'n
Hi Spunky!
Cold, dark, wet, snow/rain combo, wind. That could explain my desire to crawl into bed with my best friend (that would be my electric blanket lol) and listen to lovely piano Christmas music and drift off to a land that isn’t cold, dark, wet, snowy/rainy, windy, and where there is no such person as Justin Trudeau.
I just put a big fat chicken in the oven....no gizzards inside lol! I’m not crazy about liver....regardless of who was hosting it.
Singing does make you remember so many things. Thus, the jingles in commercials.
Heck, I even remember “You’ll wonder where the yellow went, when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent”, which has to be decades old. But that is how putting something to a tune works....even the simple little tune to remember the alphabet for kids.
In a few short posts we go from tunes to teach doctrine, to chewing on gizzards. It’s a fine day on the thread lol.
Hi norsky.....I found that Braveheart account on X, but there’s nothing like that list of kickbacks on it. Maybe it was deleted, by special request, along with a promise to let the person remain on this side of the sod.
Hi CB....you mean that isn’t a picture of your house now? lol
Gizzards are tastier than doctrine.
Ha good one, exit.
So, my little granddaughter (the teeny 9 year old) has two sweaters that I made her, and she wears them to school over her uniform shirt as a jacket. One of her little friends, Kate, asked her (Audrey) where she got the cool sweater. Audrey told Kate her Nanna made it for her. Kate told Audrey she was lucky, because it was cool. Any guesses what I’m knitting up now? lol
Of course Audrey told Kate that her Nanna has lots of wool and will make one for her, too! Kate requested something in blues. I don’t have blues. Kate is getting greens and cream. Beggars can’t be choosers!
Lol I’ll take your word for that, dear Publius. Although, I have seen a few people chewing about doctrine for a long time lol.
Nothing like good chicken meat to chew on.
I wish I knew how to size them down when using postimage.
Either they are to small for norsky :-) or WAY to big. :-(
At the bottom I posted a video that someone took of the church 11 yrs ago.
Very much worth watching. One thing I found interesting and not on the video
or my pictures is for the adult baptism they use
what looks like a metal oblong cow trough.
For infants they immerse them in a bucket feet first.
That is my dear husband standing at the door.
You will have to copy and paste the link into the search engine.:-(
But like I said it is worth it.

How wonderful you posted this. My Dad and all his family were Serbian Orthodox. I will definitely watch this.
