So sad.
It is amazing that Jimmy Carter has been alive for so long with the fact he had brain cancer since 2015. Now that Rosalynn has passed I don’t expect he will last much longer.
Here is an article on how he has survived the brain cancer.

“And those medicines do reach the brain and can cross that blood-brain barrier,” he continued.
I was in San Lois Mexico one winter, just across the border from Yuma. That year they were shipping large numbers of immigrants up and they stayed on the border, I saw them every day. One day they got loaded up in some really top of the line tour busses and shipped to Tijuana. Somebody was paying for those fancy buses. I think that is how they got there in the first place. A big show. The Mexican’s were really pissed when they were there.

The menu I posted was for a friend in Ohio. Since I had it basically spelled out I thought some of u might appreciate one or more of the recipes. It’s a very ambitious meal to take on for one person.
But this friend is having her parents and her husband‘s parents over for dinner New Year’s Day. Diana is in early 40s so I’m guessing parents are 20+
She wanted to make it A nice special dinner. She is financially strong and can afford any of that food.
I catered three times for her 2 dinner parties and one hot appetizer bar.. She wrote back all excited that she’s going to try to do the whole thing
she’ll probably have her husband help he’s that kind of guy

On the Sweet Potato Casserol is it actually Sweet Potatoes or is it Yams?
I know some people and Walmart, call Yams, Sweet Potatoes, but their is a difference. Sweet Potatoes have yellow skin and yellow inside. Yams have orangish skin and orange inside.

You never mind that he’s easy on the eyes. You are recovering from surgery and don’t need any of those thoughts dancing through your head as you sleep. OTOH, it may keep you nice and warm during the night!
