I happened to notice that a biography of Benjamin Franklin was produced and published at Librivox. Thought you all might enjoy this.
Benjamin Franklin, Robin McKown (1907 - 1975)
This biography of Franklin was written for young people, but can be enjoyed by anyone. The author Robin McKown, is known for her young adult historical fiction and historical biographies. - Summary by Ciufi Galeazzi
This audiobook is a solo, which means it is of a much higher quality than group books and yes, this reader did a fantastic job. However, it's free and open source so I would encourage you to give this to as many people as you can think of giving it to. Also note this has gotten nearly 50,000 hits since its release, so there is definitely a desire for audiobooks of this kind.

Truth be told, this work was completed late in 2020. I didn't get the memo and wasn't involved, but I'm glad I can share with all of you!

I started listening to it and it is very easy to listen to. The reader - Ciufi Galeazzi - has an outstanding voice. Soothing. Relaxing.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Benjamin Franklin’s own autobiography is an excellent read, and simple and short enough for young readers.

Does it mention how much he loved Paris because "the gates of Venus are always open..."?
Franklin was a player.

Might be easier to use the listed text source (Gutenberg) and do a key word search to find that.

Nope, otherwise it wouldn’t be “(biography)” in the title.
