I think all of them are past their prime
Under Siege was the only Steven Seagal film I really liked. JCVD is a better action star in my opinion.
Seagal runs like a girl.
“Give me Tong-Po!”
Jean Claude in a Volvo truck TV advertisement from about 10 years ago. His first 2 movies were his best. With the villain Tong Po.>
It was fun when he was on friends.
He is being very gracious here. Van Damme had 18 real professional kickboxing fights. Won 17 of them, most with early knockouts and the single one he lost was disqualification.
Seagal is a “dancer”. A big guy, who invents a story about his magical moves, claims he can’t really fight anyone because he is super-duper deadly, but never got into the ring.
Well, it is undeniable that Seagal is a looney twit and a pathological liar. Both he and Claude had some hits but were small potatoes compared to Sly and Arnie.
Prime video Thanks! Jean Claude’s problems were women, cocaine and being bi-polar. He talked publically about his bi-polar.
Segal is a very big Akido fighter. A disipline no real MMA fighter uses. Jkv is a traditional karate fighter. It is incorporated by many MMA fighters, especially Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. While neither are world class, in their prime JKV would have destroyed Segal despite the size difference.

That was a good movie. It looks like Seagal got lazy after that one. Most of his movies after Under Siege followed the same tired old formula.
Secret agent Seagal gets a difficult assignment. There is betrayal. There is a love interest half his age. Buildings get blown up. The End.
There is actually a YouTube channel dedicated to mocking Seagal’s later movies. His reviews might be unfair. But they sure are funny. Here’s one:

Scott Adkins has a pretty good interview with Steven. He comes off a lot more normal than I expected.
Reminds me of what happened to me a long time ago in a boy-scout camp. The other kid claimed to be a super-duper fighter, HE WANTED to fight and I was a (humbly saying) very competent judo kid and agreed.
He then made a whole long speech about how he knows secret killing moves, that he can’t use because his trainer would get mad.
I fought him and beat him and it wasn’t easy. He was good enough to beat 8 out of 10 in our age group.
“Bullies are weak” is not correct. Bullies are just strong enough to beat most and then adding a lot of bullshit to intimidate is more accurate.
They may be tough guys, but they all seem afraid of the same thing: gray hair.
Whatever, they are entertainers, nothing more, nothing less.

Old joke: Steven Seagal knows kung fu, karate, tae kwon do, and a lot of other foreign words.
