Under Siege was the only Steven Seagal film I really liked. JCVD is a better action star in my opinion.

That was a good movie. It looks like Seagal got lazy after that one. Most of his movies after Under Siege followed the same tired old formula.

Secret agent Seagal gets a difficult assignment. There is betrayal. There is a love interest half his age. Buildings get blown up. The End.

There is actually a YouTube channel dedicated to mocking Seagal’s later movies. His reviews might be unfair. But they sure are funny. Here’s one:

Don't forget Erika Eleniak...The cake scene...She is 54 years old now...When the movie came out, she was 23 years old...
