I'm seeing a LOT of conservatives on social media saying the war in the Middle East is not our problem.
As an anti-war conservative I completely agree however it's surprising to see this sentiment among so many mainstream conservatives?!
We're used to being in the minority on these issues.
While supportive of Israel and absolutely condemning the horrific attacks and hostage taking that we've witnessed it appears many Americans are sick and tired of the foreign interventions.
Only the Neocons on social media are demanding U.S involvement.
In fact I posted one yesterday:-

I understand but many conservatives seem to want to take a more neutral stance perhaps weary of all the foreign interventions
I believe Israel can take care of herself. Now, if only we can make sure we keep the warmongering idjits from interfering, she should be fine.

Not my war, not problem
I hear people saying this. We must NOT care or get involved. We must stand back and watch as Tehran, fed and resupplied by Joe Biden, attacks. It’s not our problem if they slaughter women and children with US taxpayer funding. I hear the “religious” have gathered in the streets with signs to support thieve activities right here in America as they cheered during 911. We must acknowledge barbarism and criminal acts, like the NAZI’s committed, from these people because they oppressed.
My indifference must swing both ways. I will not cry or be saddened at the end of Palestine. I will not care as Palestinians are pushed out or into the sea. No, there will be no sorrow for those people any more. They have chosen a path, they should expect to follow it to its conclusion without my involvement.
That Jefferson guy wouldn’t listen. First chance he got he built a navy and sent it to Tripoli.
We let this happen to Israel. Everything this administration has done was designed to hurt America and it’s ally’s. We need to evict them from the peoples house NOW!
Americans have always been skeptical of going to war.
A majority didn’t want to enter WW2 in surveys/polls at the time. (I think!)
Besides, resources are spread thin...

True. Jefferson, however , went to war to stop the Islamic Piracy of America ships in the Mediterranean Sea. It was America's first foreign war.

Yes, he did. He shouldn’t have. If the middle east didn’t value our trade why sould we protect anyone going there if they wouldn’t? This is our country, right here. Anything outside of here is not our responsibility. Some merchant wants to make a buck then they take their chances. US Taxpayers should not be on the hook to play the world’s policeman. We created this country to keep people safe here in this country, not the globe.
It is not our problem. Our problem is we have jews and palestinians in the US who want to fight as well and will kill anyone.

I am very worried about the administration’s reaction. Ordering a Carrier group to the area within hours, is to me inviting a Gulf of Tonkin incident. Then, like LBJ before him Biden will be able to escalate the situation. Not only the mideast but Ukraine into a major conflagration.
Those that do not read history are doomed to repeat it.
What happens when you have one or more generations that not only do not read history, many cannot read anything?

We never heard George Washington say during his Presidency that we should go to the middle east.

The single best thing we could do to support Israel is to stand down and stay out of their way.

IIRC, a majority didn’t want the American Revolution, either. They were OK with the status quo.
At dinner the other night we were discussing how many times worse our situation is now than it was in the 1700s.
I think it may wind up being everyone’s problem.
All of the wonderful, once-free, western countries (USA, Canada, Britain, Australia, Germany, France, etc.) have imported MILLIONS who are representing Hamas et al, and will rise up at a moment’s notice.
We have basically been taking in many divisions of their terrorist army. They will be in our streets, and this war will spread into our cities. Anyone who thinks most of these immigrants from the ME are loyal to the free west, well, time for your wake-up call.
They’ve already started. The celebrations in the street are just the beginning.
Israel is not Ukraine. Far from it. They have provided us invaluable intelligence and technology and is the only country in the middle east that’s keeping the Muslim shxtheads in any check. Israel goes and the middle east is gone, not to mention Israel isn’t afraid of Iran and would have no problem dropping a few nukes there to shut them up.
Ukraine is a non US problem , it’s a European problem.
