The Girl Scouts are discontinuing a popular cookie just a year after its debut sparked a frenzy.
Raspberry Rally won’t be sold this upcoming cookie-sales season, which runs January to April 2024, Girl Scouts of the USA has announced. The Rallies was introduced last year as a “sister” cookie to the iconic Thin Mints, a crisp mint-flavored cookie encased in chocolate, but in the Raspberry Rally, the cookie was replaced with a bright pink berry-flavored one. It was dipped in the same chocolate coating as its sibling.
The Rallies were the Girl Scouts’ first-ever cookie to be exclusively sold online, a strategy aimed at “enhancing girls’ e-commerce sales and entrepreneurial skills,” the organization announced last year.
But demand created an online shopping spree with some chapters reporting they sold out of the $5 boxes in less than a day. Resellers offered the Rallies on eBay for as much as $30 per box. The organization didn’t disclose how many boxes they produced.
“While Raspberry Rally was extremely popular last year, we are taking a pause this season to prioritize supplying our classic varieties,” the Girl Scouts of the USA said in a statement to CNN.

When I see the tables at the grocery stores selling these I just say “go woke, go broke”.
Modern Western Feminism is simply, a communist front.
Oh you must be memorable to those 6 yr old Daisies….
Whenever are people going to accept that the GS nonprofit does not fund other nonprofits and that a chowderhead at a UN conference of nonprofits over a decade ago that collocated the GS near a PP info table….did not constitute “ funding abortion”
I have an idea though…go stand by the local elementary school and tell the kids you’ll stop paying property taxes until the teacher’s unions stop funding abortion groups. Be a real educator.
Wanna bet the American Heritage Girls attend those same schools?
I don’t participate in this anymore. The concept of the girl scouts has been warped beyond its original conception.
Dollar General sells cookies just like the Girl Scout ones, for just $2/box or so.

About 15 years ago the GSA switched the company that made the cookies and they were never the same.
I don’t know how it is these days, but when I was involved in girls scouts about 15 years ago, the local troop maybe 25% or less of the sale price.
Most of the profit went to the national organization which is a bunch of left wing dykes unfortunately.
You are better off giving the girlscouts cash donations than buying the cookies, the cash stays in the troop... which most troops are run by caring everyday moms...
The organization as a whole, sadly is run by some really really whacky leftists and dykes.
Sugar can be good for head injuries.
They have been using little brownie bakers to make their cookies since the 1970s.
ABC bakers has been making girlscout cookies since 1937.
So I am not sure what company you think they changed to 15 years ago, but those are the 2 companies that bake their cookies.
You want to have a laugh, there is an episode of the Carol Burnette show where some girlscouts come up on stage and give her boxes of cookies during the opening monologue, and the boxes are HUGE, no they weren’t gag boxes, they were just the size they used to sell back in the late 60s early 70s.
Keebler does the same thing at any store you go to, and they are cheaper as well
Grasshoppers = Think Mints
Coconut Dreams = Somoas (although the actual shortbread cookie in the Keebler is a little different, its basically the same cookie)
Sandies = Trefoils
They don’t make a version of the tag alongs (which are the shortbread with peanut butter on top and then coverd in chocolate)
But if you need your fix, and like somoas or thin mints you don’t have to wait for girl scouts and they are considerably cheaper and available all the time.
There was a company called Burrys or Berrys or something like that which made my favorite. They were discontinued.
Became woke? They were born of woke. It’s just more open now.
Does that explain why you weigh 400 lbs?
Abortion cookies. No thanks.
Not only are the prices jacked up, the number of cookies in a box has decreased appreciably over the years.
I’m going to go a step further and say I don’t really care for those overpriced and dry cookies. The Samoas and thin mints were okay, but I would much rather bake a batch or get Oreos.
Most were in their early teens
I have never researched the subject of the Girl Scouts.
But it is a common belief, here on Free Republic, that the Girl Scouts have gone liberal, and are not worthy of support.
I’ve also heard we should make a distinction between local Girl Scout troops, which are run by local mothers, and Girl Scout Corporate, and that the policies of Corporate don’t affect local troop operations.
“policies of Corporate don’t affect local troop operations.”
But some funds at the local level are kicked up to Corporate.
Like the SBC. Local churches might be good and conservative, but $$ gets kicked up to woke HQ.
I have had teen troops for over 10 years.
When or if they had an encounter with someone like you making that comment, as they sold GS cookies, it would be likely to steer them away from pro-life views ….. as coming from bitter mean-spirited people. You would certainly be a topic of discussion and the experience, laughed off.
Luckily that’s never happened.
