Shocking surveillance footage caught the moment an 11-year-old grabbed a gun from his mother’s vehicle and fired on his teammates after they reportedly took his bag of chips.
The video, released by police Tuesday night, appears to show the alleged shooter being chased by one of his teammates following a youth football practice at a park in Apopka, Florida, Monday night.
The young boy then races to a vehicle in the parking lot and grabs a gun from the passenger-side seat.
Apopka Police Chief Mike McKinley said the firearm was unsecured inside the vehicle.

Guess what race the shooter is? I am guessing human then.
What I am actually wondering is what the rest of the story was that led up to this.
I already knew from the headline
Death before dis.
Any affront to be met with lethal violence.
This park is about 2 miles from my house, as the crow flies. It isn’t directly the ghetto, but it’s close enough to the ghetto for them to drive there for leafue football practice. But it’s not generally an area known for having problems.
There’s an amphitheater at the same park. We took our young son there a few years ago for an Orlando Pops performance. It’s a big, open park so I was surprised when they had an “entrance” narrowed down with security and police wanding people. When I realized that was happening there was no way to extract myself from the line so I dug out my concealed carry permit. They wanded me, the detector beeped and they waived me right through. That was an interesting situation.
He only fired one shot. I’d hit him with as many counts of reckless endangerment or assault with a deadly weapon as there were people in the area. The worst that happens to him is probably confinement until 18, and I’ll bet he gets off with less than that, regardless of how many charges are filed.
Older and bigger.
Reasonable self defense.
