Used pot daily for 50 years, still do. Had a successful business career, retired comfortably at 62, raised two happy healthy kids that finished school and never got in trouble. Own 2 houses, live in a foreign country for half the year (Texas is just too hot in summer and cold in winter) and travel to Europe every couple of years. Tried a couple of other drugs at parties (back in the 90s) and never liked them. Ran half marathons, still run, walk or yoga daily and my life expectancy is 93.
When will all this bad stuff start for me?
The enormous hypocrisy is that the government doesn’t say a word about sucking the smoke into one’s lungs after years of preaching that smoking cigarettes is dangerous to your health. Is there a more incredible hypocrite than your government?
My experience, everyone i know who’s addicted to pot is a slacker with no attention span.

I got the VA news email yesterday that states they’re going to start treating vets with psychedelic mushrooms.
Every pothead I have ever known is lazy and apathetic about pretty much everything in life, and they make EXCELLENT Democrats.
It makes people believe the crazy.
Hospitals emergency rooms are getting inundated with psychotic marijuana reactions. I believe legalized marijuana use is contributing to the ballooning homelessness problem.
Because it should be a choice.
FWIW, I stopped smoking weed on September 2 of this year, after about 45 years of smoking. I’m 65 and I couldn’t justify it anymore. It was affecting my BPM. It wasn’t hard to stop. The dark circles under my eyes are gone. When I inhale I can tell a difference.
It was a decision based on my own self-interest.
My granddaughter and her boyfriend, both 20 yrs old, used to be avid pot smokers. In January, the BF started having chest pains whenever he smoked weed. The episodes are believed to be a form of panic attacks and he’s undergone myriad tests to find out the cause. As a result of the chest pains, he stopped smoking pot and my granddaughter has cut back dramatically. Baby steps, of course, but I hope it continues. I definitely believe this study has some validity.

Alcohol, tobacco, sugar, white flour, processed seed oils and more are all dangerous. I’m 73 years-old. I don’t smoke anything but, if you’ve tried being this old here’s what you’ve discovered. Lots of things hurt and it’s really hard sometimes to get sleep. It’s 4:22 AM right now and I’ve been awake for an hour. 2-3 times a month I eat a cannabis gummy at bedtime and sleep a solid six hours, pain free. I’ve never taken one during the day. I only use it to sleep.
My body, my choice.
In watching real, live, court proceedings, it is amazing how many criminals of all kinds admit to using MJ.

Because we’re free to make bad choices. Or at least we should be. Now I’m gonna go get a soda and a sugary cereal. Hurray for bad choices.
Weed Makes You Crazy and Gives You Heart Disease. Why’s It Legal?
It should please our lawmakers as ignorant and dumb constitutes are more easily influenced and controlled. Having weed freely available is just as dumb and ignorant as leaving borders pretty well unprotected, just to mention one of many questionable things.
60% of Americans are either obese or close to it. All that fat causes strokes, heart attacks, diabetes…. I propose a BMI tax or a body fat percentage tax. Fatties are just a big a problem as alcohol, weed, …. More than anything we need a politician tax. Any political position mus purchase an annual tax stamp. 10K for local, 50K for state and 150K for federal office holders. You know for the chillens.
