I've noted before that the leadership of the Democratic Party reminds me of the Soviet leaders in the 1980's. They are all old party loyalists, corrupt, and clinging to power until the day they drop dead. The only thing that has changed with them is their recent embrace of homosexual rights such as marriage and adoption. They have no ideas which appeal to young people, so they have shamefully tried to buy their votes by finally addressing the student loan mess, and doing a poor job of that. Otherwise, nothing in their corrupt free trade policies appeals to much anyone in the working class, the old Dem base.
