Hard-right Rep. Lauren Boebert has parted ways with the man seen groping her during a frisky date at a Colorado theater while enjoying a family-friendly performance of the musical “Beetlejuice.” The self-described “eccentric” pol returned to Washington D.C. on Monday and told TMZ that “all future date nights have been canceled” between her and bar owner Quinn Gallagher. “I learned to check party affiliations before you go on a date,” Boebert told the outlet, referring to Gallagher, who co-owns an Aspen bar that hosts drag shows. Although she alluded to her date’s affiliation as a Democrat, the GOP stalwart said the break-up had nothing to do with the various reports on Gallagher in recent days.

I haven’t seen much refraining here from criticizing Hunter Biden over his sleazy sexual escapades; and it’s astonishing that so many are now giving her a break for her horrible behavior - and she did it in a public place.
I learned that lesson a lo-ong time ago.
In my case, it meant never dating Dixiecrats or Blue-Nose Democrats.

God, such hyppocrites are repugnant.
She was seated in the middle of that side of the theater. A camera (if there was just one on that side) would be pointed right there. If there were multiple cameras, one would be likely to have a good view.
The other thing is, sometimes these cameras are aimable in real time. If someone comes in drunk or high but not misbehaving enough to get bounced out B4 even getting seated, an alert staff might well aim the camera at the most likely potential source of a problem.
No, you need to get over yourself.

Actually, yes it is. The facts are:
BEFORE redistricting (2020) the district was R+6 according to Cook. AFTER redistricting it's R+7 (Cook) and "R+15" (538) though you have to divide the 538 in half to make it comparable to the way Cook calculates it:

The change wasn't dramatic, but redistricting moved this one to the RIGHT for 2022, not to the left.
Boebert's (and Trump's) struggles in CO-3 are due more to themselves than to the makeup of the district. I like Boebert and wish there were more like her in the House, and Trump is going to be the presidential nominee in 2024 whether people like it or not, but there's every chance that they both lose this district next year. If they do happen to win that would be great, but it will very likely be with their usual 51% or 52% at most despite the heavier overall GOP lean of the area.

That’s what got me, too. First she lies about vaping, then she acts like a horny kid in the theatre and she blames it on HIM being a Democrat; and then blames it on her divorce, trying to get sympathy for her victim status.
If a Democrat did this, the people here would be livid.
She’s a 36 year old Grandmother, for goodness sake. I sure hope she never serves on any committees that require mature discretion. This female is a mess.
There have always been a minority who did not adhere to convention. I was speaking of a general attitude toward social mores. There were principles guiding behavior that served to preserve family values. These are sorely lacking today, and society is paying the price.
It’s either her timing or her discretion that sucks, maybe both.
Suddenly one suspects that being married to her or having her for a mom would be hell on earth.

I’m beginning to wonder if her politics are just an act and something she’s cynically using. People who sincerely possess ‘strong family values’ don’t behave this way.
Gosh, simply average, mature people worthy of important responsibility don’t behave this way.
I’d have checked his background out before the date, but that’s just me😄
