I guess many books from before 2008 do not properly promote communism and may actually depict the horrors of communism.
That’s one of the things they did in Brave New World.
Freegards
They feel the need to be as “1984” as possible. They don’t have the time and manpower necessary to rewrite all books prior to 2008. Instead, they purge them entirely.
At least in “1984”, Orwell had INGSOC giving the illusion that history was a thing.
That includes “1984”. Irony is ironic.
Global Warming/Climate Crisis were not invented back then ? LOL
Fahrenheit 68.
This is what has happened historically when one nation conquers another.
The conquering nation removes all references to the conquered nation’s history, culture and traditions to ensure an easy assimilation to the new culture that will be imposed on the subjugated population.
And what was that about right wing “book burners,” again???
Ignorant wretch. It's a rhetorical question, right? Because everybody knows the mongrels who decide what's right and what's wrong are the last persons on earth qualified to make such determinations.
Isa 5:20: Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
And, woe to them who allow such trash to make such decisions. Because sooner or later, it's coming back to bite them.
They removed pretty much everything worth reading.
All books that do not meet the social justice, DIE, transgender, LGBQ+ standards will be removed and burned.
That’s unbelievable. Most “older” books are so much better and educational (in so many ways) that what’s currently popular.
Inclusivity is ridiculous. The left doesn’t want that, it just panders well. Inclusivity would mean no private clubs, or private anything, for that matter.
Inclusivity is another leftist Trojan horse.
Probably because none of them covered the Kawandan Super-civilization that ruled the world and put a man on the moon.
This is a joke right? Babylon Bee style?
Lunatics everywhere
“Year Zero”, just like the Khmer Rouge.
Orwell’s 1984 deserves a more detailed quote on this topic:
“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”
1984 was not supposed to be a government handbook.
