Proper nutrition has been shown to reduce cancer risk, noted Dr. Brian Slomovitz, director of gynecologic oncology and co-chair of the Cancer Research Committee at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.
“First, we know that the rate of obesity is high and only increasing — and it’s a risk factor for many cancers,” he told Fox News Digital. “A healthy, balanced diet will help to decrease these cancers.”
A healthy diet may also limit fatigue and promote increased physical activity, which can also help with prevention, the doctor added.

The sulponaphane from digestion of raw broccoli poisons the h. pylori which imbed themselves in the stomach lining and cause continuous irritation to produce hydrochloric acid that results in sores, upset stomach, gastric reflux, peptic ulcers, and finally cancer.
So eating enough broccoli removes the cause of cancer.
But secondarily, taking Ranitidine also does block the acid production and thus prevents ulceration and allows the existing ones to heal, but does not remove the bacterial infection. Unfortunately the pills of that drug (trade name Zantac") had to be taken on and on, never ceasing, so what a great cash cow for the Big Pharma industry that manufactured drug substance was! Multi-billion!
The trouble was that, as marketed, the pills also contained N-nitrosodimethylamine (click here), a carcinogen which was confirmed in a nationwide population study, and thus had to be withdrawn from the market. Of course, back in the 1990s it was found that the h. pylori could also be eliminated in a couple of weeks by taking "Pepto-Bismuth" together with amoxycillin, commonly available but not usually combined, a solution that remained undiscovered for decades. But look! Couldn't a periodic consumption of broccoli eliminate that approach to avoidance of ulcers as well?
(What do gastroenterologists do for a living these says, eh?)
I will say, George Carlin did not die of Cancer, so he was onto something.
Please note that the Bible says that the human race did not eat meat until after Noah's Flood. And as vegetarians, they lived up to almost a thousand years, quite healthy!

I love Brussels sprouts. Recently I had the best ones I’ve ever eaten. They were flash fried and served with a sesame-honey reduction. I have no idea how to make that reduction, but it was fabulous.
Dog food that is one of the highest rated by vets.
Brussels sprouts, cultivated in Brussels, Belgium, are very far from natural.
