TEMU is Cleverly Hidden Spyware that Poses an Urgent Security Threat to U.S. National Interests

TEMU app software has the full array of characteristics of the most aggressive forms of malware/spyware. The app has hidden functions that allow for extensive data exfiltration unbeknown to users, potentially giving bad actors full access to almost all data on customers’ mobile devices. It is evident that great efforts were taken to intentionally hide the malicious intent and intrusiveness of the software. We engaged numerous independent data security experts to decompile and analyze TEMU app’s code, integrated with experts of our own staff, and analysts who have written independently in the public domain. Contributing to the danger of mass data exfiltration is the fast uptake rate of the TEMU app: over 100 million app downloads in the last 9 months, all in U.S. and Europe. TEMU is not offered in China. The TEMU app development team includes 100 engineers who built the Pinduoduo app, which earned a suspension from the Google Play Store. Pinduoduo app got reinstated by removing the 'bad parts', some of which were identically utilized as components of the TEMU app, strongly indicating malicious intent.

We strongly suspect that TEMU is already, or intends to, illegally sell stolen data from Western country customers to sustain a business model that is otherwise doomed for failure. Cheap China shopping apps have previously proven that the business model is simply not sustainably profitable.

TEMU is a notoriously bad actor in its industry. We see rampant user manipulation, chain-letter-like affinity scams to drive signups, and overall, the most aggressive and questionable techniques to manipulate large numbers of people to install the app.

I considered this app to buy my wife some Lenovo ear plugs ($6 to $11). Decided to research it a little...came away horrified. It is incredibly intrusive. The wife said “If it sounds to good to be true...it probably is.”.

So, it’s now okay to deal with the devil? I don’t believe so.

When the bargain is too good to be true, YOU are the product.

Too many people are willing to trade their freedom for a few dollars. Or a few dollars off. Are you one of them?

Want cool t-shirts? You can make your own (along with hats, mugs, tumblers, etc.) for a reasonably small investment in a heat press, and possibly a printer.

8-in-1 heat press can be found new for under $200. Sublimation printer also under $200 (though you can pay thousands). Some inkjet printers can be used as sublimation printers.

Once you have this setup, you can print anything you want. Could be a revenue stream for you or your church.

Trade my freedom for a few dollars? You mean freedom to buy from whom I want, versus restricted to way overpriced local or otherwise domestic products if they are even made here anymore? And which tax-funds a liberal government here that longs to do what the Communist do. And such which, in the interest of votes/power, traded domestic self-sufficiency to China

The US has morally gone over the edge, with almost every corporate entity saluting the flag of Sodom, besides related issues such as the high cost of manufacturing, it is so dependent upon foreign supply that even the military must rely upon China, or other governments who also promote immorality and repress Christians and basic freedoms.

You mean purchase more products that depend upon the above?

This is not 1950.

So, it’s now okay to deal with the devil? I don’t believe so.

See post above, and tell me how one is not "dealing with the devil" by doing business with virtually all corporate businesses (and most all smaller businesses in America, esp. North of the Mason-Dixon line)? And how they themselves are not "dealing with the devil" by providing money to Communists, Socialists, the liberal left. etc. to varying degrees?

And then I will also ask you where I can buy most any of the inexpensive items I have bought from Temu and Ebay, Amazon, Walmart, etc. without "dealing with the devil" by providing money to Communists, the liberal left. etc? Or must we all live off the grid?

Meanwhile, by saving money by using the lowest price as the practice, then I have more money to use for God's work and working against the devil, versus paying liberals here, or the few conservatives who themselves depend upon Communists, Socialists, the liberal left to varying degrees.

At least then, you are going into the deal with your eyes wide open.

No sarcasm, for real.

True That.

And the intent of the Alphabet agencies are almost the same as the ChiComs. Subjugate, brainwash, enslave the world. And in the case of the USA they try hard to destroy US financially. It is cheaper than by military action. Our bought politicians are throwing gasoline on the fire daily.

Think about this, Slo Joe, the fake president of the USA, is bribed/totally compromised by the ChiCom Government.

Slo Joe tells us the ChiComs are not enemies of the USA.
