President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will talk about the peace formula, a special tribunal and compensation for war losses during his speech to the UN General Assembly in New York.

“The President will deliver a speech at the UN General Assembly, where he will talk about the peace formula, the creation of a special tribunal, and establishing a compensation mechanism for damage [to Ukraine].”
DETAILS:
According to Zhovkva, the visit will be used “in this or that format” to hold meetings on the peace formula.
“There will be a lot of bilateral meetings, including with the countries of the Global South, including from other continents. We will make the most of this opportunity to visit New York, which we are confident will bring significant results,” the deputy head of the President’s Office added.
BACKGROUND: Putin will not go to the UN General Assembly in September, and the Russian delegation will be headed by Lavrov.

Ukraine expects to hold a summit on peace formula in autumn

Deputy Head of the President’s Office Ihor Zhovkva has announced a meeting of ambassadors in Kyiv to discuss the Ukrainian peace formula and spoke about the preparation of a summit.

Zhovkva stressed that discussions about the peace formula involve not only Western countries, but also countries of the Global South, including South Africa, Brazil, India and China.
“We are guided by our formula, we take into account all those proposals, in particular those of China and Brazil, which are rational and compatible with the interests of peace and the interests of Ukraine. At the next meeting of ambassadors, which will take place this week in Kyiv, there will be even more participants, I think more than 70,” he added.
Zhovkva also expressed hope that a peace formula summit will be held in autumn.
“Peace in Ukraine can only be based on Ukraine’s peace formula, because the war is still going on in Ukraine,” Zhovkva concluded.
The official also said that the peace formula would be one of the main topics of Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s speech at the UN General Assembly in September. Earlier, Bloomberg sources reported that the President of Ukraine may come to New York to participate in the events of the General Assembly’s high-level week.

The bottom line is that Ukraine has committed its last reserves to the battle of Rabotino which is a cowtown on the edge of the security zone before the first line of the Russian defenses.

Slovakia refuses to use Russian nuclear fuel

Slovakia has decided to abandon the supply of nuclear fuel from the Russian Federation for its nuclear power plants, replacing it with fuel from the American company Westinghouse. France can also help the country get rid of its dependence on Russian fuel.
As reported by Censor.NET, it was reported by Euractiv.
“Securing another supplier of nuclear fuel for our power plants is an important step towards strengthening Slovakia’s energy security,” said Branislav Strycek, director of the electric utility company Slovak Power Plants.
Almost 60% of the energy produced by Slovakia comes from nuclear power plants, which receive exclusively Russian nuclear fuel.
However, after the conclusion of an agreement on the provision of “the only fully Western alternative” for the supply of energy resources between the Slovak power plants and the Swiss branch of the American company Westinghouse, Slovakia will be able to abandon nuclear fuel from Russia.

After the appropriate certification, the new fuel will be put into operation within a year, Strychek added.
It is noted that Slovak power plants seek to attract at least one additional energy fuel supplier. In May, the company signed a memorandum of cooperation with the French company Framatom, pointing to another potential source.
The agreement between the Slovak and American companies was concluded as part of the EU’s aspirations to end dependence on Russian energy carriers.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a rare Russian electronic warfare system “Svet-KU” in the enemy’s rear.
The corresponding video was published by Yaroslav “Loki” Oliynyk, Advisor to the Minister for Strategic Industries, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, the Svet-KU system has been seen in Ukraine three times - in 2016, 2020 and 2021 in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region.
“This time it was found behind enemy lines, where the Russians did not expect it. This is the first recorded defeat,” said Oliynyk.

The RB-636 Svet-KU was adopted by the Russian Army in 2012 and is designed to monitor the situation and track various radio signal sources.
