US Army vet Dynell Lane needed to use the bathroom at Serious Pizza in Dallas, Texas in the early morning hours of June 10. But two off-duty police officers, working security at the establishment, refused to let him.
According to The Dallas Morning news, “Many states — including Texas — have a restroom access law known as ‘Ally’s Law,’ which states people lawfully on the premises of an establishment should be allowed access to a restroom if they provide evidence they have a medical condition that requires immediate access to a toilet facility.”
Lane provided the officers with medical paperwork documenting his medical issues resulting from his deployment in the Middle East, yet still they refused. Lane then called 911 but officers did not arrive in time to mediate the situation and the wounded veteran wet himself.
This awful moment for a disabled military veteran left responding officers laughing and mocking the veteran in a disturbing interaction caught on video.
AGREE. They want respect, EARN IT. Until then F*CK THE BLUE!!
Dallas went left long ago. Not as bad as Austin, but clearly it’s bad.

FIRE THEM!
I would drop that b?!/h out over Kiev without a parachute from 6k feet.
Shhhhhh. Don’t get in the way of the FreeRepublic anti-cop narrative with your pesky facts.
I agree. I come from a generational police family and that disgusted me.
They bend over backwards to stay out of the way of blm and antifa, yet treat disabled vets like this. They are no better than blm and antifa!
I saw 4, including the camera-wearing officer. Clearly discussing thd detsils of the story.
The force is changing. New officers are woke libs. At least in defund the police areas.
Right thinking officers are still around. At least until they get a job in a better city or they reach retirement.
“It’s becoming more and more difficult to support the police.
And it’s almost all their fault.”
Yeah, I’ve been a supporter of law enforcement officers my whole life; and I have family members who are cops. I like to think they’d be repulsed by this kind of behavior.
But a lot of cops are not doing themselves any favors.
For me anyway, the issue is not that the disabled man was denied the use of a restroom. The cops well might have just been following restaurant policy.
My beef is that they thought another person’s humiliation and misery was so hilarious, so very funny.
Sad thing is many of the problem officers are ex-military themselves.

The leadership of Dallas PD has been playing for the wrong team since November of 1963. What do you expect?
And they’ve driven many of the good, qualified ones away from the profession, at least in Rat run areas.
Dallas PD is mostly DEI approved and have the corresponding effect that all woke governments hold.
Far too many are on the Wrong Team. So, now, for our safety, we need to assume that they are ALL on the wrong team until PROVEN OTHERWISE.
I've seen doctors laugh at people who pissed themselves in the ER. Are they terrible people? Of course not. I've been out with friends who are teachers who laugh at their students misfortune. Are they awful? Of course not. I think the issue is we see people being mean a lot these days because there are cameras everywhere.
