On Tuesday, Ohio voters resoundingly rejected Issue One, an attempt by Republican legislators to change the rules of the state's ballot initiative process designed to sabotage an upcoming vote on an amendment to protect reproductive rights.
Republicans had clearly hoped that this rules change would fly under the radar in a low-turnout August vote. It didn't pan out that way. Activists on the ground in Ohio recognized the threat, mobilized to get national attention, and successfully got out the vote around the state. Our organization, , was one of several national networks to support them. Once again, the pro-choice, pro-democracy side won out.
It's becoming clear: a little more than a year after the overturned Roe v. Wade, the decision has created an electoral undertow that is pulling out to sea. One might dismiss a single referendum, special election, or midterm as a fluke. But the aggregate data of the last 14 months paints a clear picture.

The woman vote is going to hand the rest of the country to the rats based on a single issue. The Ohio prop had not one word about abortion. It simply made it so you need 60% to alter the state constitution and it got crushed. Maybe Linda can float a national abortion ban in October of 24 to give the rats a super majority in both houses.
The Democrat Party has perfected the art of buying votes with your money.
I suppose your solution is for the Republican Party to out-socialist the Democrat Party.
They might win, but there’s no difference between an R-Socialist and a D-Socialist. Either way, you get socialism.
Is that what you want?
Until it's time to vote.
Somebody is blowing smoke. The evidence [voting results] says they are not
I don’t think abortion was much of a factor in Trump vs Hillary.
But abortion as a stand-alone issue appears to be favored in nearly every state and inspires GOTV.
For a lot of conservative voters, total abortion bans are not the hill to die on.
Most were happy with overturning Roe V. Wade, because it should never have been a Federal issue.
It is out of the constitution
You don’t see they are threatened by that. Ok
It was never true that overturning Roe v. Wade would “end abortion”. It wasn’t even true that it would “save babies”, without state legislative action to save them.
The LEGAL objection to Roe v. Wade was always that the Blackmun Court had no right to declare state abortion laws void, there never was any basis for a “right to abortion” in the Constitution, and a court with the power to make abortion legal was a court with unlimited power.
But the ENERGY to elect a President who wanted to appoint justices who would overturn the decision came from millions of people who cared not at all about Constitutional law and who imagined that erasing the error of Roe v. Wade would somehow, by magic, cause abortions to be prohibited.
I wouldn’t exactly say the pro-life people were misled - but what they believed about their fellow citizens’ legislative intentions on abortion and what was manifestly true were two very different things.
Same day in person paper ballotts hand counted or the country is lost.’
why stop with that...? if you really want to restrict access, go back to the early 1780’s when only landed gentry could vote.
/\
Election/vote fraud pimp obfuscate much ?

Boy,, I’ve heard that accusatiin before....

The same liars that lie about everything else..

Unfortunately it’s a loser issue for the GOP.
I think it's more than that.
I've recently taken an interest in the offerings on Netflix and Amazon Prime which are designed to appeal to girls and to young women.
The message, loud and clear, is that men are bad, it's best to stay away from them, unless it's Mr. Big with a yacht, and that the correct life arc is one which would be ruined by a baby, so why bother?
This is having an effect, as birth rates crater in Europe and in European settler societies.
Abortion is the tip of the anti-natal iceberg.
No, they will cheat and then say it was because of abortion.
Our Democrats are pieces of shirt.
There is a lot of killing in the Old Testament. In the Book of Joshua, God gave the Holy Land to the Jews, who were commanded to purge the land of the wicked nations that inhabited it. War is never pretty: look at the excesses on both sides during the Indian Wars. I assume you agree that the United States were the “good guys” in World War II. Yet how many Japanese and German children did we kill in bombing raids? We likely killed some French, Italian, and Filipino children as well.
Caving to the left’s agenda is NEVER *winning*.
You appear underestimate how many people are ProLife in this nation and don’t hold the radical atheistic idea that human life is disposable.
Your attempt at swaying ProLife people to compromise their souls for morally stained political power does nobody any good at all.
True conservativism is socially conservative.
Can’t do any good if you don’t get elected.
You have to get there one little victory at a time.
Yeah, that’s how we got to where we are today, compromising with the devil.
Anyone that thinks we conservatives truly gain power by electing UniParty hacks is delusional.
She pulled that before. Linda Graham is a snake.
