(maybe) five letters, starting with "R"
heavy on using math for stock market prediction
It’s Boston... It’s massholes so irrelevant.
Is it Radius?
Is therea reason this is a quiz?
He's stuck on a crossword puzzle?
RALPH’s investments and oil change.
I assume he can’t think of the name. 😋
The way they pronounce things with an “R” in them, what difference does it make?
When I worked in Boston they made fun of my Texas accent but took offense to me telling then ‘AH’ is NOT a letter.
If true on a consistent basis, it would be miraculous.
Show me the beef.
RONDO! The Thirst Quencher!
Madoff Bankman-Fried & Corzine
Powered by AI. The “A” stands for A$$hole$
“Wildly successful” is new-speak for bowel-shet grifters?
Isn’t it cheating then?
“They claim annualized return of better than 20%”
The name begins with P.
Ponzi.
Most of the grifters make sure to get their pictures taken with Obozo or Bidet—always a dead giveaway.
> Is it Radius?
I went to the Radius website and it seemed too preachy in the progressive sense (sustainable this and that, apparent DIE tendencies, etc.), and I am not certain that any such company would demonstrate year of year profits based on analytics, so don’t think it is the company that I am looking for.
(Minor point: it’s 6 letters, not 5...)
I learned about the company from talking to a fellow jet passenger whose math major kid had been hired by the company just after graduation. Supposedly they have their own exclusive 401K which makes 40%/year. I got a sense that it was in the Route 128 beltway but not in Boston proper. Supposedly they use math to predict the stock market, invest accordingly, are very successful, and keep a low profile. I am trying to recall more from my faulty memory, and wishing that I had taken notes at the time rather than relied on my faulty memory.
> RA Capital Management is headquartered in Boston, claims Assets Under Management of about $10 billion, which puts them at the small end of the scale. They claim annualized return of better than 20%, which is pretty good, if true.
Possibly, but if so, the health sector and hedge fund aspects were not in the description that I recall being given. (Minor point: also, it is two letters, not five...)
