Anheuser-Busch heir says founders would be 'rolling over in their grave' over Dylan Mulvaney partnership that has cost the company $27BILLION in value

The heir to the waning Anheuser-Busch fortune has aired disapproval toward his old firm's decision to do business with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney - and said the sentiment is shared by his late ancestors who helped build the beer company from nothing.

Sitting down for an interview Friday, former owner Billy Busch, 62, lamented the series of failed PR stunts his successors undertook with the influencer, and how it's already lost his father's and grandfather's firm some $27billion.

Speaking to TMZ, Busch said his late father, August 'Gussie' Busch Jr, and his dad, A-B creator Adolphus Busch, 'would have rolled over in their graves' if they were alive to see the financial and social repercussions wrought by the failed partnership.

The St. Louis-based Busch clan - once the head of one of the biggest beverage empires in the world at the time - sold their stake in the firm in 2008 after more 150 years in 2008, selling to current owner InBev for some $52billion.

In the years that ensued, Anheuser-Busch experienced a period of success that saw its market evaluation swell to near $140billion - success that was promptly undone in April when A-B sent Mulvaney, 26, a personalized can of their then-bestselling Bud Light to launch the partnership.

It’s no longer an American company.

Probably more appropriate to say it’s not managed (by the board/CEO) as adult-leadership. I doubt if the board understands the product, or the consumer. Just begs the question...what idiot would go and hire a former CIA guy...as CEO?

I also fault BUD for capitalizing on the mentally ill for virtue signaling and profit. DM is mentally ill

I love happy news 📰📰📰📰📰

Needs to lose 3 times that for working to pollute America and the rest of the world 🌍🌎 with the Godless Reprobate Agenda.

And the loss is more or less permanent since bl probably isn’t coming back to popularity very soon. They have pretty much destroyed the brand.

“series of failed PR stunts”

That line of thinking presumes that these people care about making money. They don’t. This is a humiliation ritual. It’s not about selling more beer; it’s about destroying a piece of the culture. Everyone (including the Left) knew that this would harm AB. The other big humiliation ritual starts their games in a few weeks. Many such cases. Very sad.

If our cowardly politicians ever got in front of this glorious news, and extended this boycott to other Woke corporations, I’d really be enthused. A $27bn dollar loss isn’t enough, nor is damaging only one corporation.

I don't normally drink mass produced beer but I had a Modelo (the new number one beer) on the train home a couple weeks ago. It was surprisingly good and I will always choose it over Budweiser going forward, when my choices are limited.

I like Yeungling as well but it does not seem to be widely available just yet.

As long as they are advancing they leftie narrative, they don’t care if it’s with stockholders’ money.

The Bud Light saga is one of the hugest unforced errors in American business history.

Bud had one of the most incredible marketing programs in existence.

They had their mainstream media ad campaigns which were stellar. They were so popular, people actually watched the commercials instead of tuning them out.

They also had a huge, diverse grass roots direct marketing campaign in bars and at events that targeted pretty much any demographic who could drink been with in person on the ground peer marketing campaigns - including heavily in the gay community.

Then they decided to flip the script and trash their mainstream customer base and elevate what would have been a great underground niche market marketing play to the national level.

It was an act of marketing suicide which the Bud Light brand will never recover from. It has destroyed a 40 year, multi billion dollar marketing investment by AB in the Bud Light brand virtually over night.

Queers conspire with each other to defeat wealthy straights. It’s easy because queers bait all of the evils which straights sucker into. Queers use the knowledge to capture top positions in the otherwise straight organizations. However, queers’ schizophrenia leads them into decisions which cause the downfall of their organizations.

Ronald Reagan said it best. We are never more than one generation from total collapse.

I think that Adolphus Bush was spinning in his grave the second Billy Busch sold his company.
