UFOs are the story of the century — wake up, America! (Rear Admiral (Ret.) Tim Gallaudet)
The Hill ^ | Rear Adm (Ret.) Tim Gallaudet

Last week, I had a front-row seat at the hearing of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), also known as UFOs. The three witnesses provided extraordinary testimony on their observations of aerial craft with performance characteristics far beyond those of modern aircraft, as well as knowledge of a hidden U.S. government crash retrieval program of such vehicles and their nonhuman operators.

The witnesses were former officers in the U.S. military with stellar service records. Their message to Congress was that we are not alone, we possess technology unlike anything available in the public or private sectors, and the U.S. government has covered up this earth-shattering information for decades.

[...]

As a retired U.S. Navy flag officer, I can attest to the integrity and authenticity of the two pilots who testified: retired Commander David Fravor and Ryan Graves. I have served on three aircraft carriers and count many Naval aviators as close friends. These two witnesses are the real deal.

So is David Grusch. As a Navy information warfare officer, I worked closely with the intelligence community and Grusch’s former command, the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. I too have been read into special access programs, and I understand how Department of Defense classification systems and authorities work. His testimony is 100 percent credible.

It may take time for society to come to grips with this historic hearing, but we will be best served by immediately responding as follows:

1) The U.S. Congress should continue to demand the Department of Defense and intelligence community disclose UAP information, data, and materials to the public.

[...]

2) The U.S. government should show leadership in international scientific studies of UAP.

[...]

3) The U.S. research community should significantly expand the scientific study of UAP.

[...]

How arrogant to believe we are the only species that has developed a means for travel between celestial bodies. Now that we are finding out otherwise, we must demand disclosure of what the government knows. Instead of staying asleep at the wheel, we should wake up as a society for the safety, security, and scientific advantages that can be gained

I hear you.

I was stalked by a girl once.

She was never my girlfriend, but we did go out a few times. She definitely developed a fixation and started stalking me for a brief while (in NYC).

She even stood outside the brownstone where I had an apartment. She stayed there for about an hour and I had no way out without passing her.

I was paranoid as hell for a while. It still gives me the creeps.

I just thought of a scenario that might convince me!

I’m chased into my house by strange creatures that exited a “space craft” and I shoot one in self-defense and the blood is color or consistency of Cheez-Whiz or a kale smoothie. But most likely I will still wonder what the CIA jabbed me with.

“would have had the technology and ability to dominate us decades ago.”

Why do you think they “have to” or “want to” dominate us?

Because this is how man thinks? “Got to win”? They are not men... Maybe they have no need or reason to “dominate us” and “win”. Win what?

“I’ll be more concerned when Pfizer markets an ‘alien protective’ vaccine lol”

I wonder if they’ll get ET to be the spokes being? Or would Fauci close enough?

But what if it turns you shot a CIA agent during your hallucination?

Besides, if space aliens could travel 1000 light years across the galaxy, they probably would have a very good bullet-proof force-field.

The problem with things rattling our grasp on reality is that no one can define reality.

NO ONE. Particularly people who cling to the past.

I remember a psychology professor who defined sanity as the distance between our perception of reality and reality itself. The smaller the distance, the saner one is.

The problem is that reality is a moving target. And human beings vary in their willingness to adapt to a rapidly changing reality.

On the other hand, you have people in the Woke Movement who are completely unplugged from reality because they believe reality is what you want it to be. The distance between their perception of reality and actual reality is almost infinite because their perception is untethered from reality.

Excellent point. Humans (particularly men) see everything as a football game.

These beings (if that is what they are) may see humans as nothing more than sensory mechanisms that can be occupied (or possessed) to enjoy the physical and emotional dimensions of this planet.

“I remember a psychology professor who defined sanity as the distance between our perception of reality and reality itself.”

Thomas Szasz had a different view that stuck with me. He argued that sanity was a cultural artifact—the distance between a person’s perception of reality and the culture’s perception of reality.

“Mental health” = conformity to social and intellectual norms set by the culture.

Reality itself had nothing to do with it!

I got laid off with 5 minutes notice from a job I had for 20 years. The first person I told was my wife. Hated the place but I cared about my team under me, other wise I would have quit years earlier. Took a few months off and found a better job. They closed the department down a few months later.

If this is real wouldn’t crashes indicate that they and their technology is subject to faults just like ours? Our planes, rockets and spacecraft have all crashed at times too. And that’s some pretty hitech stuff. Not on the level of what’s being discussed here, but the more complex something is, the more that can go wrong.

We are hitting peak cynicism here.

I wish the F'n trolls would just stay away. They have nothing to contribute to these threads other than to start argumentative shit.

I have mixed views on this—the “trolls” do represent the position of many millions of people on this topic—I like to know where public opinion is—even when I don’t like it.

Why would any other civilization come here if it weren’t to befriend us or dominate. To travel that far without doing either seems pretty ridiculous, really.

What would they gain with secrecy?

Being pretty much stranded on a desert island that makes sense. When I have to go commingle with society it is pretty easy to see the insanity and lack of reality. A sane person the now the extremely rare bird.

Insane mental professionals judging whats insane or not. If they live in an alternate reality how can they rightfully judge accurately?

They can’t...

I like to know where public opinion is—even when I don't like it.

Then the skeptics here need to behave like adults and offer counter arguments instead of all this squirrel bullshit and attacking individuals such as Rooster.

This is an adult forum and posters need to present their arguments as adults instead of like 12 year old kids looking for attention while the adults are talking.

“If they live in an alternate reality how can they rightfully judge accurately?”

Szasz’s analysis (many decades ago) applies very well to our current situation.

The lunatics are running the asylum—so they get to decide who is “sane”.

If you don’t kowtow to 666 genders these days then you are “insane”.

;-)
