A French man who is known for extreme sports is dead after falling off the 68th-story of Hong Kong residential.
Remi Lucidi, 30, was climbing the Tregunter Tower complex when the man fell according to the South China Morning Post.
Lucidi, known online as Remi Enigma, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Hong Kong officials, Lucidi arrived at the building around 6 p.m. and told the security guard that he was visiting a friend on the 40th floor.
A security officer attempted to apprehend Lucidi after the alleged friend confirmed he was not acquainted with Lucidi — but by then the stuntman had already secured an elevator.
Security footage later glimpsed Lucidi arriving on the 49th floor and then again taking the stairs up to the top of the building.
According to those in pursuit of Lucidi, they found the hatch leading to the roof open, but he was nowhere in sight.
Police say the man was last seen alive at 7:38 p.m. when he tapped on the window of the complex’s penthouse, prompting a maid to call the police.

However ...
The source — which has not been identified — said that police believe Lucidi was trapped outside of the penthouse and was banging on the window for help before the unfortunate accident.
I wonder if his life flashed before his eyes as fast as the floors he went past.
That’s like being hit by an Oldsmobile that’s doing 120 mph...A quick death.
an old STEEL Oldsmobile.
Couple thousand decelerating G’s are not kind to the body. There are graphic photos of Twin Towers jumpers.
That song was on the Hollywood Vampires set list when I saw them Friday night. I didn’t know that Jim Carrol had died, as he was included in the background video along with other deceased music luminaries. Nice that they included Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart.
You should have stayed until fall...
It sure beat Rikers..
Now where is that picture of Hans Gruber and Nakitomi tower...?

I’m sure this guy has done similar feats. But perhaps not under the same time pressures so as to not get caught. When I screw things up it usually isn’t that big of a deal. “Oh crap, no wonder it won’t start, I forgot to connect the wire!”
He was probably in a hurry, screwed up and ....
That’s gotta hurt.
Very sad. Remi his limits and failed. In other news, Alain Robert (b. 1960) from Digoin, France, has successfully climbed 170 buildings including the Burj Dubai (2,717 feet), Petronas Towers (1,482 feet) and the Sears Tower (1,453 feet). My favorite story is about Goran Kropp (b. 1966) who rode his bicycle from Stockholme to Everest Base Camp in 1995. Then he climbed up Everest and rode his bike home. Amazing. He said that it was curious how boys in many ME countries like to throw rocks at cyclists.

I guess I shouldn’t have untied that rope on a doorknob on the 68th floor, too late now.
Search “unicycle chimney” for some videos of a guy doing stunts atop an 840-foot smokestack in Romania. I’m not particularly acrophobic, but the videos are hard to watch.
Arkancide? 😆
“The Universe is a cruel and unforgiving place. Violate the laws of physics and pay the consequences.”

He didn’t violate the laws of physics, he just didn’t take them very seriously…and, yes, the Universe is a cruel and unforgiving place.
Douche is a French word. I wonder if they removed his remains by douching them from the street.
Fell about 5’ and twisted an ankle. Didn’t make any headlines.

I fell from a forty foot ladder.
Fortunately, I was only on the first rung when I fell.
