IMHO-I don’t think it will reach Supremes. Once Jack realizes that Trump’s team will present proof via discovery and calls his witnesses, Jack will drop the charges.

Donald Trump’s ultimate escape from prison or a death sentence may well be SCOTUS. No doubt the gangsters out to get Trump will appeal any adverse judgements all the way if they have to. There is no pretense of Constitutional fairness any longer... AND many in the Leftist legal crowd are advocating ignoring SCOTUS if they don’t get the decisions they want.
No more pretense about justice under their autocracy. Hopefully Q has an alternative in the wings... SOON!

The article at the link ended with one of the most ridiculous statements I’ve read in a very long time:

Probably the most annoying thing about left-leaning media is that one of their own will throw out a bizarre statement, such as the one above that Obama made, and not a single reporter ever challenges the contradictory nature or obvious fiction of such a statement.
It may not reach any stage, if the Judicial System were honest.
I would think their first step would be to move to dismiss all charges.
That could happen today.
At the time of the referenced “crimes” Trump was indeed POTUS.
He announced the speech as a “Presidential Address” on The Mall weeks, if not days, before; the entire world was knowledgeable of this address.
He made overtures to Congress and SCOTUS to provide added security (declined).
A stage was built under proper oversight and logistics were relayed and to all Capitol stakeholders regarding the address.
That address was thus provided “Presidential (executive) Immunity equal to the immunity enjoyed by Congressional speech on the Floors of Congress.
If these “crimes” were observed at the time of the address, the only proper venue for trial at that time -and now- is an impeachment proceeding in Congress.
His legal team should request dismissal according to the Executive Privilege doctrine as well as improper venue.

I’m coming to the conclusion that:

And I will close with this story for anyone who does not believe in God, or doubts His existence and character.
A man I know of was watching his world fall apart.

Re Train derailments:
1. Helpful everyday Americans run toward it to assist. Good people.
2. Interesting comments on video from family of rail workers:
A) Always stop two car lengths back from a train crossing, so you can turn around if needed.
B) Never approach derailed tanker cars; they could be carrying toxic materials.
C) If a tanker derails in front of you, get as far away as you can, immediately.
