"[Current Socialist Democrat policies] are also increasing the financial burden on families.

The cost of home energy bills this summer will increase by 11.7% to an average of $578, up from $517 last summer, according to the National Energy Assistance Directors Association."

Fixed!

The “climate change” of a typical hot July will soon be eclipsed by the “climate change” of a typical January, as Amazon shoppers flock to the site to stock up on mittens, scarves, and long underwear, in order to stay warm.

The sale of air conditioners ALWAYS goes up the first full month of summer.

Isn’t all of this a ‘creation-event’ like Christmas/Thanksgiving....to generate sales that wouldn’t normally ‘bounced’ like this?

It’s the latest example of how climate change and extreme weather patterns have impacted consumer purchases.

Um, it's summertime. How many air conditioners do they expect to sell in January?

“Consumers are snapping up air conditioners, ice makers, pool floats and other goods to help them cool down in response to a brutal heat wave in the United States.”

Better hurry, The Regime plans to end this ‘luxury’ VERY SOON.

I recently bought three small window air units at walmart for 150.00 each. I figure I can cool off a small room with one of them using solar if the grid ever goes down. and I have spares if I have a breakdown.

We replaced the 12 year old HVAC in January. Our peak utilization is at 70% of last year, and our monthly spend is 66% (we had a mild spring).

Might get another 20% better off the original if we upgrade the insulation and recoat the roof. Also we get enough sun here to shave the peaks substantially, but I’ve yet to do the math.

“Sales for fans grew 60%.”

I’m one of the 60%. Home Depot and Lowe’s are cleaned out of fans, so I ordered a 3ft tower oscillating fan, for my garage’s “dead air zone”.

We ordered a portable AC from Amazon for our 38 ft RV up at our rural compound. It works like a charm and uses about 40% less watts than the AC system that came with the unit. I just got the first full summer electric bill for up there and it was really low.

Home Depot is closer and you can just go in and pick it up, no special delivery needed.

By the way - I saw an expert weather guy on Varney & Company this morning. The heat “records” in Arizona were seeen before in the 1970s and altogther the 1930s had a larger summer heat wave than this one.

Wait a minute, the 1930s was before 80% of the human added CO2 was put in the atmosphere. Something is not “right” here. /sarc

My a/c unit blows 48 degree air : )
The apartment is not well insulated so the temp is in the upper 78 or 79 if I set the temp at 68 on the a/c unit but the humidity is low at about 40% so it is comfortable. I can get the temp down to 75 or lower but that is too cold.

MASTERCOOL (52220 1” Analog Thermometer - use it for home or car.
